A Year of Schnibbles Parade VI

Here we are at the first of the month once more! And once again we have a bunch of wonderful Schnibbles to see in our Parade! Thank you all for playing with us, you are all amazing to me.
By now I am sure you have been over to Carrie's blog and seen that she has a wonderful secret she has been keeping but has shared it with everyone now.
Carrie has a new book coming out!
Not just one book but she actually has two books being published!
One book is called the Spice of Life which really looks like
it will be a good one filled with beautiful patterns (judging by the cover)!
The other book is a book of Schnibbles but not just Schnibbles...
the same pattern will be made in the book twice...
one large, lap size version and then the Schnibble size!
Title... Schnibbles Times Two! of course! that makes sence.
Don't worry- we have not, miraculously, made any of the Schnibbles that are in the book!
Be sure you go over to read all about the books and the great promotion that will be going on over at Carrie's blog. Hint: there is going to be a contest with participating stores, Moda, That Patchwork Place publishing...
and even some of our featured shops will be participating in the contest too!
Let me show you my Schnibbles for March:
I will have to show you the "unfinished" top because I wanted to put ric rac around the outside of it and buttons. I just got the ric rac yesterday afternoon, so my plan hasn't come together completely yet! But here it is anyway...
Our next Schnibble...
will be Roundabout!

I actually was able to use one of my Moda scrap bag purchases for this one. It's from April Cornell. Spring Magic:) I think.

Now for the parade of A Year of Schnibbles.... insert drum roll here:

SUNDAY'S BEST

I had to hunt this one down but I found it! This is Kim's Schnibble... aka

Kim's Big Quilting Adventure. Spike the cat helped. Really Fun fabrics! It turned out so cute!

Here is another one that missed the grand debut... my fault...

It's from Paulette (no blog- yet). This version in the blue and yellows is a favorite. It speaks of Spring... but in a whisper, don't you think?

Hot off the press is this Sunday's Best from Sandy aka Strlady from Texas! Very nice... I love all of these Bow Ties!

I'm thinking the bigger the better... like the one done in Eve fabrics over on Sherri's blog.

Here is Sunday's Best made by Polly from Aunt Polly's Porch.

I love the little addition to the centers!

I originally missed this quilt from Carol at Brown Quilts4me. Sorry Carol! But here it is now. Very warm & rich. It's beautiful!

Here is Bea's Schnibble! My last one to add... but absolutely beautiful! Bea, this really works for me! I love seeing your Sunday's Best.

I love this one with the yellow background and the blue bow ties.

This is submitted from An Encourager! You will have to check out her blog to see what movie she watched while stitching the binding on this.

This one is so sweet... and will be perfect for Spring.

It's from Jocelyn the Happy Cottage Quilter.

Here we have Gloria's version of Sunday's Best. From the Hooked on Quilting blog. Great job... I have to go look at more pictures at her blog... to see the details on the quilting.

And look who did this striking version... Judi from Smokey from the Netherlands blog!

Cynthia of Hyacinth Quilt Designs. Love the fabric...

and apparently she didn't fall in love with this pattern until it was finished! I think it turned out great!

Karen K. did her version is a sweet fabric group... I love how soft it looks here.

Here we have one from Jo, from Jo's Country Junction! Those sweet bright colors look so inviting with that snowy background!

This one is from Jafael, a new Schnibbler from the blog Scrapgasmic!

This one is from our new Schnibbler Erica (no blog) made out of Cotton Blossoms! Yum!

I love the way this one is so calm & sweet. It makes me want to do another Bow Tie quilt! This one was made by Darlene from Quilting Daze .

Cindy C. at Sew Cindy blog made this version

of Sunday's Best... it's so rich in these colors!

No doggy picture this time... darn! he usually gets into the shots!
Eidt: okay I'm awake now... I see the little guy up at the top!

Cara Quilts made from Blush... she calls it Blushing Sunday. It's yummy!

KJ Quiet Quilter made her version of Sunday's Best out of really fun fabrics.

I love the way it turned out!

I love how the different colors allow the different features of the pattern to stand out! And this one is perfect with the photo taken outside. It reminds me of cobble stones. It was made by Andee in AZ aka Modern Diary

This is Sunday's Best made by Di from Quilting is Blissful.
Great contrast and the border is fantastic!

Julie of Jewels Arm Candy
made her Sunday's Best" with a little twist! See how different it makes the block!

Heather Quilt or Stitch
did a beautiful job on her Sunday's Best... you can see it quilted on her blog.

Betty Lou is new to our group also and made her Sunday's best out of a bright & cheerful group... I think it was from Me & My Sister. Beautiful work!

Now don't forget to hop over to Sherri's blog to see the other half of the parade of A Year of Schnibbles. There's more talented women over there!

One of the things I really love about the Parade of Schnibbles is seeing the same pattern made using different fabrics. Thanks so much for doing this, Sinta! I wanted to mention, though, that mine seems to have not made it into the parade? Maybe it woke up late or is marching to a different drummer?! LOL! Let me know if you need me to send it again. Thanks!

My goodness, look how beautiful Bea's is using "dark" instead of light.

A parade of beautiful quilts. I just showed hubby how different ONE PATTERN can look with different fabrics.

Oh, I DO look forward to Roundabout for March. Thank you Sinta and Sherri for making the parade a visual success.

Isn't it fun to see how you can take one pattern and change it just by the fabric and the color!
