Elements of a Wedding

Have some lemonade and enjoy "the Wedding Part II"

There was dancing... and singing!

and a lot of laguhter going on!

The ceremony and the toasting...

and lots of picture taking.

There was a backdrop made and props for guests to take photos at while the photographer was busy with the wedding party photos.

Bales of hay were brought in and quilt were placed about outside and in the lobby.
I have no idea what this photo was about... but they are always up to something!

Tables, placecards and homemade jams.

.

There was a recipe box & recipe cards. Guests were asked to write their recipe for marriage. Pinwheels were made out of Amy Butler paper and used as decor for the tables and large pinwheels were made for down the isle's and around the grounds.

Then there were the flowers... and the napkins.
The cake, made by me...
there was a point when I was finishing putting it together where I could no longer breathe or talk for fear of crying or just losing it altogether from stress.
Jill used her late grandmother's embroideries as table clothes and her
Hummel figures as a cake topper with the mail box of their last name added!
And of course, the kiss!

How wonderful! I'm so glad you posted your wonderful pictures; I felt a little like I'd been there! One of my favorites is the one of the guys, holding the bouquets, surrounding the bride. What fun!!! :)

Oh Lord... You had me close to tears. They look so darn happy and as I'm starting the process myself I kept imagining my baby girl. Ug. I think I need to cry now!!

How very sweet. Weddings always make me cry, especially when you see how happy the couple is.

Best wedding bouquets I've ever seen!

And the bridesmaids' dresses looked unique, not run-of-the mill.

So... now it's Monday! Are you just kicking back and saying.... yehhhhhhhhh it's over!!!? At least the stress part! From the pictures it looks as if it turned out wonderfully! When my DH and I got married hmmmm 34 years ago... my folks decided that going to DisneyLand after the wedding was the way to relax! (Actually the had it planned b/4 we planned on getting married!) They were so busy talking about the wedding (cause they left for California as soon as the wedding was over... they live in Oregon) that they didn't notice that they were speeding.... a state trouper pulled them over and they just told him the truth about the wedding and he didn't give them a ticket! Way to go mom!
Hope your memories of your family wedding will be as happy!
