DST Giveaway

Yesterday got away from me... including my camera...
so I wasn't able to show you my first DST giveaway!
(de-stashing time)
I found a nice little jelly roll of Basic Grey and a Jelly Roll book
that I want to find a home for.

If you are interested in this little giveaway just leave me a comment and I
will pick a winner for it on Monday. But I have another little something that
I will post a giveaway for tomorrow.
So please check back!
I am loving the weather this weekend.
I am looking forward to DST (daylight savings time)
but mostly because of more light hours. I enjoy winter...
I just need more LIGHT! Longer days mean I can get more done!

This weekend I am working on putting the border on this
little quilt. I am having a brunch tomorrow for my family in
honor of  my stepson getting engaged to his girlfriend of 9 years.
A little one, a boy, will be joining the family latter this month.
There isn't a whole lotta fussing about the sweet baby...
I think it has to do with having all sons. They aren't
excited about baby showers etc.
So, instead of that, I am having the boys all bring diapers
and books for the baby.
That way the baby will have a book from each of his uncle's.

If there is any other time available to me this weekend I hope to
put the final borders on this quilt too.
Wish me luck...
oh, and I wish you luck in the giveaway!

Love the quilt! Those flowers are so happy looking. Love the idea of the books, too. We took our favorite books to a shower for my cousin's first baby. It was amazing that no two people brought the same book!
