AYOS: It's the Hook Parade!

We came, we saw, we conquered!
Yes, Hook was a wee bit out of our
comfort zone for the most part... but we did it!

I can't wait to show you all the amazingly versions
we have in the parade today...
but first... I have a surprise.
No joke.
We have decided to do something small for the next parade.
But this time it's not a pattern of Carrie's
No... seriously, I wouldn't fool you!
We get to pick a pattern from the
wonderfully adorable

She has been churning out lots of cute fun and patterns
this year
that are small versions of her
larger patterns... and, well,
who could resist?
So, for the next parade...
it's a free choice of one of Camille's small patterns.

Okay, you can do two if you want... after all, they are small!

Here is a sample of a few of her patterns that we will be choosing from...

I can't wait to play! How about you?

Don't go yet though...
here is the parade of Hook!
Starting with my  little quilt...

I have to admit that I was inspired by an early photo of
Lisa's quilt that I saw on her blog. My
quilt got a quick re-do because I needed polka dots too!

See what I mean!

Here we have some sweet polka dots and holiday fabrics...
this is a wonderful version of Hook made by
Lisa at Stashmaster blog!
Thank you for
allowing me to copy you a little!

Here is a stunning color combo that Michelle at Quilts and Stuff
used. Not only the blocks seem to move but the border
seems to move too... like a marque! Love it!

Here is a lovely looking version of Hook
that was created by Nancy. I love the
earth tones of the reproduction fabrics she used here.
I think Nancy is the only one who actually thanked us for picking this pattern!
he he he

You are killing me! I LOVE this!
Patty from A Stitch in Time made this adorable
Hook! It is dancing... love the quilting and the border too!

Paulette made a beautiful version of Hook...
I love looking at her color combos in each of
her blocks! Cute!

This is a beautiful version of the Hook pattern
created by Polly at Aunt Polly's Porch!
I love the solid stars of Urban Couture fabric
 and the green background!

Sue made a gorgeous version here using my all time
favorite holiday fabric line... and then made a couple
of candle mats to go with it!

Susan S  made a gorgeous version of the Hook pattern
here is a sweet little color combination. I love the stripes in her
blocks too.

Here is a stunning version of Hook made by Thelma
She used Little Black Dress II to dress it up...
and then doubled the size of the block for a more
versatile quilt... making it  66" x  70".
Isn't she clever!

Vivian made a bright and beautiful version of this Schnibbles
pattern and used a
vintage mint green for the background!
It looks great with the colorful blocks!
(note: I made an error last month... Vivian's State Fair quilt was
not given to her only the pattern of State Fair was gifted...
she made the quilt herself! Sorry... I misread).
Take another look... here.

Wendy made a gorgeous Hook quilt here. I know she said she
had a bit if a challenge with it...
you wouldn't know it though, it looks fantastic!

I hope you enjoyed the parade so far... you can see more over at A Quilting Life.
I also encourage you to take a look at each of these quilts over at
each of these blogs. The photos of the journey are wonderful!

New minis
Then go take a look at what pattern you might make!

Oh - so many were diligent this month! I have to admit that I love the concentric circle quilt pattern from Patti. It goes perfect with all the sharp points of the pattern. I already have my mini Swoon pattern - so BRING IT ON!

I love the parades! I always see new and creative takes on the same pattern. I never would have considered using a different fabric for the setting triangles, but it looks great. I also like how several of them resized the pattern to make it bigger. Great job as always Sinta!
