A Tuffet or Two, A Year of Schnibbles

How fun is this... to welcome in 2010 with a parade of Schnibbles!
But first before the parade begins...
would you like to see what Sherri of A Quilting Life and I have been working on?
This is the Schnibbles pattern for January...

May I introduce to you:
Madeline!
I really enjoyed making this little quilt. It was done in no time at all!
I can say this for it... this one will not be a challenge in patience for you and it's a nice one to start the year with!
however... please note:
*there is a "typo" (or two) on the pattern because it's so new... some of the patterns went out with the typo and the revised patterns are now in shops also. So, make sure you go to Carrie's blog,
LaVie En Rosie where she will have a pdf file for you with the corrections to see if you will need them.

Just so you'll know what you will need... and so you can start planning... here are the
fabric requirements for Madeline: (I used Rouenneries by French General)
2 charm packs
1/4 yard inner border1/3 yard binding1 yard backing
I know you all enjoyed taking it easy and had fun with the Sweet Liberty & Tuffet patterns!
I know I will be making one every month now myself to coordinate with my Schnibbles pattern!
So, here we go:
here are our Tuffets on Parade!

This is one by Marianne at D is for Dovey blog.

Here is a super-sized tuffet by Lisa B from Candle Lite Quilter blog. She made it for her nephew... as a pillow!

Simone got a late start but has made up for it with 4 tuffets and more on the way!

Here is Rita's Sweet Liberty Tuffet! - very cute!

Regena of Quilt and Quilt Things made a basket of tuffets and several more ta' boot!

You have to go check them out on her blog.

Here are some sweet little tuffets and with a selvage edge twist! These are from Sandy L, at Crazy Bout Quilts blog.

Sandy's Sew and Tell made this adorable group of tuffets!
Love 'em, each and every one of 'em! Seriously!

Sandy F made the sweetest group of Tuffets pictured here! I just love them all!

Who didn't get addicted while they were doing these?

Robin at rsislandcrafts blog used her imagination and came up with a great quilt that uses the Tuffet block in it!
But look... she's not alone...

Quilt or Dye got very creative and made a unique quilt that incorporated the Tuffet block into it too! See more photos of the quilt on her blog!

Paulette (no blog) did this group of tuffets while she was away for the holiday's!
They are so cute!

Lynda From My Farmhouse Window not only did her tuffets but also bought pins to go with them! They are so sweet! I just love them. Lynda also made her Picnic Schnibbles and has it posted on her blog too!
This one is so cute from TLC Stitches (Trisha). What are those fabrics? They are so fun... and the button too!!!

Here is a great assortment of Sweet Liberty Tuffets from Messy Karen blogger.

Megan from Crooked Seams made this coordinating group in beautiful yellow & blues!

But that's not all!!! Go see the rest of the Tuffets on Sherri's blog: A Quilting Life!

Sinta, Madelyn is a good choice. However, Carrie did not put a pdf with the corrections on her blog. Maybe I'll have to check back later for it.

It is so much fun to look at all those lovely results. And I couldn't sy which one is my favorite, since they all look so pretty in their own way.
And I love the way two people made a quilt with the patterns.
I look forward to work on the Madeline Schnibbles!
Have a lovely weekend.
