My husband gave me 2 cows for my birthday!

What an amazing giveaway and I love your pumpkin and am drooling over all the beautiful quilts!
Something about me...I'm a mother of 2 beautiful children and have sewn handbags for over 4 years and am ready for a change...so figured I'd take a go at quilting!

Thank you so much for sharing.

Hmmm something abt me~ I used to be a tour guide! :-)
Love the parade!! Thanks for the fun Sinta!
AWESOME parade!!!
And what a wonderful giveaway to boot! Well, since I know my husband doesn't read quilting blogs, here it goes...in the past year I've bought fabric and hid it. He thinks I haven't bought any but I have...there I said it. I feel bad about it but when I secretly look at the fabric - I just feel happy. (...almost like 'MY PRECIOUS' kind of happy, that's a reference to the movie Lord of the Rings)
Lovely gifts. Love the wool and pincushion.
Something quirky... I stash away things that I have bought shopping- fabric and other things.
Something quirky, well this may make you laugh but I love to smell the clothes when I take them in from the clothesline, if only I could bottle that smell ;-) I sure would love to win your amazing giveaway and thanks for the opportunity.
Sheila
I loved the show-thanks, but I love love your giveaway even more.
something quirky-my father told my hubby long long time ago that I was an accident waiting to happen-and thats still the truth.
I worked hard canning lots of goodies this year, and I think to get me to slow down, my angel broke my toe as I stumbled into a piece of furniture about 10 days ago, that didn't keep me down, so then my lower back went out-I can't sit still-enough is enough-so today I am mordanting cotton fabric for natural dyeing-marigolds and goldenrod-before the early frost hits the flowers-lol
JOYEUX ANNIVERSAIRE, dear Sinta. XOXO
I love the gallery of quilts they were so lovely.
Quirky story...mmmm.....the first time I met my husband was in a job interview and he told his boss not to employee me as I was a bit horsey and I would be a nightmare. Luckily he was ignored and 17 years later he still hasn't got rid of me!
What fun; I look forward to being part of the new parade.
Something about me? Hmm. I am a deep thinker. When my finance and I talk about serious things, he often will tell me that he will get my thoughts in a couple days. I am so thankful he knows that I need that time to process my ideas.
wonderful show, quirky HUMMMMM lets see, I used to work for a PD, no thats not quirky, I am addicted to fabric, NO not quirky as everyone visiting here is addicted. OK I got it....I met my husband on line..... 14 years ago.... and they said it wouldn't last.....
Hmmmm.....Quirky.....I still say "shut off the light" instead of turn off the light. I was raised in a french speaking family so I have all these weird expressions that I say in english backwards. My husband only speaks english so I mostly only speak english now. But every now and then, my kids start laughing at me, because I use one of those weird expressions. I also say "you know?" ALL the time. My husband makes fun of me, but repeating it when I say it. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!!!
What a wonderful giveaway! We drive to Colorado to our cabin 6 or 7 times a year. It is a 10 hour drive and we take our 2 dogs and 1 cat....crazy, huh?!
I love all the Schnibbles! What great quilters you had to stick with it all year. I am looking forward to your next year.
Quirky~~Well mabye strange. I love scary movies. That wouldn't be so bad but no one in my life likes them. I sit by myself at home and watch them. I'm not into slasher movies, more like fantasy or supernatural.
Quirky and TRUE - I only use one eye..for real. I was born with a bad right eye and as the years went on, my right got worse, had surgery and now I only have me left eye.
Wonderful giveaway. Please enter me in the drawing!
Something about me: I worked for a judge and had somewhat close contact with criminals in court.
True confession....When I was a kid, I actually liked liver and onions. My brother paid me to eat his portion!
Happy Birthday Sinta! I have really enjoy A Year Of Schnibbles.
Beautiful parade of Schnibbles - everyone did a fabulous job. Thank you!
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday dear Sinta,
Happy Birthday to you.
Enjoy your day!
I love seeing everyone's parade. It was so much fun!
I have many little quirks that the kids laugh about. I am one of those paranoid Moms. I always make sure the doors are locked before bed even if I was the one who locked them 5 minutes ago. I also make everyone close and lock their bedroom windows so no one can be stolen in the middle of the night.
OK, quirky or funny...hmmm. I always hear from quilters that they like to bind quilts when watching TV, well, I can't do that because my two Cairn Terriers always want to sit (sleep) in my lap at TV time and I let them!! Guess I love my pups more than I want to get my project finished :-)
Thanks for the chance to win!
Love the quilts on parade, and loved reading all the quirky comments. I will have to come back and read more.
Now its my turn to share. I love to sing show tunes when I am alone in the kitchen cooking dinner. The louder the better.
Wow what gorgeous quilts! Thanks for sharing. Let's see, quirky...I love cold cereal! I could and sometimes do eat it for every meal! Thanks for the great giveaway.
spackattak7 at hotmail dot com
Fabulous giveaway! I would love that Moda scrap bag :)
That is something quirky about me...I'd rather have scraps than yardage! QUilting friends often give me their garbage!
This onetime at band camp...I really have no amazing stories to tell. Does hatching out peacocks and raising them IN MY HOUSE count?
Thanks for being one of the three best hostesses in blogland, Sherri and Carrie being the other two! And, thanks for the great giveaway!
Hmm a true confession. I still sleep with the light on. Thanks for the giveaway!
Itsmelealee@gmail.com
My true confession...hmmm, I have to have a fan running while I sleep. Need the noise, otherwise I can't sleep and it doesn't matter if it's -20, have to have the fan running. Thanks for the giveaway!
I forgot to say~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
A quirky thing about me is that I hat to drive. I try to get out of it every chance I get.
clara.cann@gmail.com
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!!! Great giveaway! hummm.... something quirky.... I worked in a cigar factory when I graduated from high school! Well, no not making them, I worked in the office. But my clothes always smelled of tobacco when I went home :-( Didn't keep that job very long.
What a wonderful give away. Would love to win. The show of schnibbles was wonderful.
Thanks for sharing the Year of Schnibbles with us! I enjoyed seeing them all again. True Confession time: Driving home on the day I earned my drivers license, I hit a brick building while trying to park. Guess where we were stopping? A fabric store, of course:)
Thanks for participating in the giveaway!
the quilts are gorgeous *_* i eat icecream at midnight and dream of kidnapping adorable babies, well not really kidnap, i just want to squeeze their cheeks.
Just love love love all the schnibbles. Lets see...something quirky? Hummmmmm, I can't stand my feet to be covered, my feet stick out of the covers at night....
I had to ask my husband this question because as far as I'm concerned I'm normal...LOL. And when his eyes rolled by forward, he asked if I'm absolved of all attitude by answering honestly. He says I'm a very black and white person. There's no gray area for me. I love it or hate it.
Beautiful quilts! Something quirky...my hobby is shopping and purchasing projects (fabric, scrapbooking) than I need to do more shopping to find organizational systems to store it all in! Not so quirky but a sickness! LOL
Quirky? I don't like when fruits touch so I don't eat fruit salad. I like the flavor of each fruit unmitigated by the flavor of another. Great giveaway - thanks for the opportunity to win!
I had to re-post this since I got so excited and forgot to share the "about me"....
FABULOUS giveaway! Thanks for sharing all those pictures- how inspiring! :)
Something quirky? I love the smell of horse poop. O.k. maybe that's just gross but I have loved horses all my life and that smell just says, Horse.
I have REALLY ugly feet...YIKES!! the secret is out!! I'll do anything for a GOOD give away!! Thanks for the chance to win!!
Paulette
I love the clothesline and the parade. Thanks! Something quirky? I like Elmer's glue. The smell, the feeling on my hands...just such fun!
Something quirky -- hmmm...I have a Halloween birthday....
Thanks for the chance!
I so enjoyed seeing all of the quilts nad what a wonderful giveaway!
Micki
What a generous giveaway...please count me in :o)
A quirky story..well I met my husband when I was just 16 and although we weren't together for the early part of our adult life we met up in our 30's (thanks to the internet) and never looked back.
I don't know about quirky but something about me that most don't know....I used to be a Pest Control Supervisor/Technician and if we had rodent jobs it was terribly hard for me to kill them with my love for animals.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the year of Schnibbles and wished I would have jumped in sooner...but did make it and found a true addiction thanks to Carrie, Sherri and YOU! Don't miss my Fall into Fall giveaway...your going to smile when you see my offering. Hugs!!

What a lovely tablescape you created with your giveaway prizes...yummy! I appreciate you participating in this fun hop.
Quirky? As a child I would not eat chocolate. I'd save up all my bunnies and other chocolate treats at Easter and just hoard it until my brothers (5 in all) would bribe me for some...it was either money or giving me special 'trinkets'. I loved the power I had over them!!! I can tolerate some chocolate now, but am still not enamored by it...I lilke chewy or caramel types of stuff; spice cakes etc.
The quirky thing about me is that I have put my entire life on spreadsheets. I use spreadsheets a lot for work so for me life is much easier on spreadsheets! I always tell my husband that if anything happened to me he would never have to worry!
Would love to win!
emilliepeters(at)yahoo(dot)com
Hmmm quirky thing...I like to make lists and cross things off them...ie if I forgot to write an item on the list and I completed it I am known to write it on the list after the fact so I can cross it off! Also, I am NOT a morning person!
After five years of living here, I'm still stumbling across new things the previous owners left behind. Last time, it was a set of frosted shower doors in the very back of the canning closet.
Quirky? My son would say, "Yes, she is!" I used to be a butcher, and once had a pet pig named Throckmorton.
What a fun giveaway...so you want to know something quirky about me, hmmm, I can eat a whole pound of bacon by myself..it a sickness I know!
Something quirky about myself: I ride a bright yellow Vespa motorscooter! I enjoyed seeing the Shnibbles parade - great work!
What a great giveaway...I loved the Schibbles quilt show.
thim3@hotmail.com
Quirky? Uh... Ummmmm... I can't think of anything. OH!! I know. I like pasta - like elbow macaroni or rigatoni or shells but I HATE spaghetti! Don't ask me why. I do not know.
Wow, what a gorgeous post! The Schnibbles have been fun to watch right along but so many in one spot - wow again!
Before we bought our home we rented; it was a basement apartment, chilly and a bit damp. There were centipedes - big stripey ones - in the place. Once I went into the cupboard to get some spices and a centipede was LOOKING at me! He didn't even have the grace to pretend to be scared. I let my kids keep pet rats, have no fear of reptiles or spiders, but I can't abide centipedes anymore!
Thanks for the giveaway. Quirky? My daughters and I are working our way through the Mary Tyler Moore show on Hula. We are having fun!
I always wanted to be an airline stewardess but am afraid to fly! Thanks for the great giveaway
WOW! Quirky--lemme think. I can't think of anything (and neither can DH..probably to stay outta trouble!! LOL). Thanks for the giveaway.
Quirky huh??? Just spend 5 minutes around me. I sure you would find something. I like handstitching while I watch NASCAR,or maybe it is my potato chip and cheese sandwiches. I am sure I will think of the perfect one later.
Love all the Schnibbles.
L,A-
Something quirky about me - I am deathly afraid of bees, wasps, flying beetles - anything with stingers or sticky feet. I will scream like a little girl and almost have a panic attack.
Amazing giveaway. Funny story: Once a bat got in the house and I swear it chased me from room to room. Dear husband was at work, so I hid in the closet for almost two hours!
Love all the Schibbles! I've loved coming across them all year!
What is Le Petit exactly?
Something about me-I seem to be a bit behind on what's going on!
Love the quilts! awesome! I want them all.......lol!
Something quirky: On Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Year's Day, all household pets and visiting pets (last Thanksgiving there were 6 dogs and 2 cats here, only 2 are mine) get a Thanksgiving Dinner too, the works: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and gravy. The triptophan in the turkey (the stuff that makes you sleepy, in addition to the over-full stomach) will knock out all those furry 4-legs too, lol! House of many snores within an hour of dinner.
mary6850 at gmail.com
Looks like a great giveaway!
Something quirky - I have to go back and make sure I turned off my iron about six times. Why don't I just buy an auto shut-off iron? I'd probably still check it six times.

Gorgeous quilts, and great giveaway!About me? well I always said when I didn't need to go to work anymore, my house would be perfectly tidy all the time! hello???
Then I discovered the saying "there's always tomorrow", I better do some sewing instead!-LOL!
Bye for now, sandy
sandangels1945@hotmail.com
Your prizes are wonderful.
Something quirky? Is it sad that I can't think of a single thing -g-

What a beautiful quilt show. Your giveaway is perfect. I collect pincushions and belong to a pinscushion group.
Thank you for the generous giveaway! I would love to be entered.
I will share something quirky about me. When I eat certain foods I get loud hiccups that are often times painful. I have no idea why it happens and it doesn't happen every time I eat, though usually it happens at night and with breads and potatoes most often. I don't know anyone else with this weirdness. Thankfully it has yet to happen at a church function where food is involved... lol!
Blessings, Jessica
I think this is gross more than quirky but I will forever be known by high school friends as the girl who threw up in her flute case. Yuck. Thanks for hosting a giveaway!
Quirky thing about me is the culture shock of my education - elementary school grade had 6 students; high school my class had 568 graduates; college graduating class had 10,000 plus. Thank you for this nice giveaway.
My family thinks this is quirky, I don't. I have gargoyles all over the house and odd statues, like a fish with glasses and dogs that look like Dr. Suess made them. Starting about Oct. 1, I will put little witch hats on them all, after Thanksgiving they all have Santa hats. I think I may need pilgrim hats for Thanksgiving.
Great giveaway! Hmm something quirky about me?...There are a lot of things quirky but one of them that stands out is that I love doing somersaults in the pool to the point where I'm dizzy. Weird I know.
Not sure where I fit in the quirky category...though I am a little weird. Love to hang out with dogs and cats more than anyone else.
Thanks for participating in the fall giveaway. Check out mine..I'm doing it too.
hmmmm quirky .... I sing to my dachshunds every morning....the good morning song and they sing along .... thank goodness I have no close neighbors
Thanks for the schnibbles parade, lovely quilts. Something quirky about me, we moved to Arizona about 6 yrs ago and I'm terribly afraid of snakes. I haven't seen one yet and I don't care to. I don't like anything creepy or crawly at all. Thanks for your lovely giveaway. I hope you'll stop by for my fall giveaway as well. Happy Blog hopping!
I heard it was your birthday, Happy Day. I got a dirt bike from my DH for my birthday one year-just what I wanted!
I've been a farmer's wife for 27+ years and I don't know how to drive a tractor. :)
Love watching your year of Schnibbles. I'm joining up for the next round and am nearly done with my October entry.
jmquilts AT gmail.com
Out of all the quilts I have made, I have yet to keep one of them.
Quirky? Well let me see ... hmmm ... My mom spend days making me a lacy, pearl buttoned white dress for a Church coronation. The dress was a divine! Why then did the audience gasp in shock as I paraded down the Church aisle? My sparkling white dress had turned a not so lovely shade of red. It seems one should not yank out a tooth for the tooth fairy right starting down the aisle! Oh, and lots of water will remove blood from white dresses! Happy blogging.
WOW, What a lovely collection of quilt I love the State Fair Schnibble in fun cotton candy colors!
Something about me... well I love to watch the clouds, rain and sea waves!
I really enjoyed your beautiful quilt show! Here's my funny: My favorite night out happened on the way to an adult Halloween party. A friend who went with us had decided to dress up as a "street bum". He had purchased ill-fitting clothes from the Goodwill store, dirtyed up his face, and really looked the part.....so much so, that when we stopped in a store on the way to the party, the cashier didn't want to wait on him! We laughed hysterically all night; truly the best party we ever attended!!!
What a great giveaway.....I'd really enjoy winning this one!!! Thank you for the chance :-)
I confess I would rather blog hop than go out to eat or a movie!!! Don't tell my honey!!! Thanks for the chance!
What a beautiful year of Schnibbles! What continues to amaze me is how the same pattern can be interpreted in such different ways - true individualism!!
Gross and quirky (you'd better not blackmail me with this later!!) I like my dog to lick my feet!
True confession? Hmmm. Well, long ago I was in a big city Police Academy for 4 weeks. I realized I wasn't cut out for the job and resigned. In a round-about way, the experience led me to meeting my husband, so it all worked out for the best!
Thanks for such a great giveaway. Me, I am the most unorganized person you could ever meet. I cannot spell and love spell check on my computer. I lay things down and lose them. Some days I don't even want to go into my sewing room cos I know I won't be able to find what I'm looking for!
Confession: I sleep with 4 pillows. I've tried giving up 1 or 2 of them but then I can't sleep. When we go to hotels we always have to ask for extra pillows, then I take most of them :D
Love the parade of Schnibbles and the Fall Into Fall Giveaway! My quirky thing, I always put sliced gherkin pickles on my egg sandwich!! My husband says its quirky anyway!!
When people first meet me they think I am still in high school, but I am 30! Everyone keeps telling me I should be thankful...
What wonderful quilts!! And an amazing giveaway! My confession...I don't know what a schnibble is. I'm still new to quilting, so that's my excuse! :)
Ok...maybe that's not good enough, so here's another...
I was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps...and I was a MECHANIC to top that off! Most people probably wouldn't guess from meeting me and listening to my obsessing over fabrics, quilting, and all things crafts. I'm such a girl now! :)
Thanks for a great giveaway!

I had no clue there was anyone in the blogiverse that could write a longer post with more photos than me....CONGRATULATIONS!!
I loved every minute of your post too!! Who knew there was so many schnibbles?
A true confession: Oh geez....how much do I really want the blogiverse to know about me? When I turned 30 I went on a cruise alone. On one of the french islands they had a nude beach. I actually found a desserted part of the beach...I walked quite a ways....took off my suit....laid on my towel....for probably 30-40 seconds. Put my suit right back on and walked away all proud. I am a liberated woman now....I can say I have been to a nude beach and I was nude. For me....that is really waaaaayyyyy out there!!! How is that for a true confession?
Smiles,
Kelly
Great post and giveaway. Sure enjoyed seeing all the beautiful quilts. Well, I might as well admit it. I am terrified of storms and the dark. When we have a storm with lots of lightning and thunder and my dh is at work, I get in bed and cover up. I guess I figure my quilt will protect me. LOL Have a good day. Winona
I wish I had participated in schnibbles year, I have three patterns and one set of charm packs but thats as far as I got. Eh well! I still have time in life to work on it!
so as for my quirky thing: hmmmm...I sometimes still hide under my covers reading a book by flashlight. I did it growing up thinking I was being sneekey and mom and dad would never know I was reading in bed after bedtime. years later I realised someone had to buy the flashlights and all the battaries for me. =)
I'm not very quirky but I did learn to drive at Folsom prison. I always love seeing if my friends believe me when I tell them that.
My quirky behavior is that I wake up a few times a night and flip my pillow to find a cool spot.
Lovely gifts, and enjoyed seeing the quilts. I think Shnibbles quilts are adorable!!
I love your giveaway! What a cute idea. Okay here goes - I love new notebooks, yes notebooks. I love when the pages are crisp and new and the pages are ready to be filled with exciting things. I have sort of a notebook fetish or something like that!
I occasionally dye my hair a pretty pink just because I love the color. I also collect pretty shoes that I very rarely wear, I just love the idea that I can wear them if I want to:)
Well, I am not sure how quirky this is or not, but I do speak three languages- English, Spanish, and Chinese, and I spent a year in Iraq!
Hmmm...I'm an Air Force brat and married a man who retired from the Air Force last year. He was my high school sweetheart.
Thanks for the photos of the Schnibbles parade and WOW!..what a giveaway! Thanks so much!
Those Schnibbles quilts are all beautiful. Something quirky? I love my chickens!
YAY! Thanks for offering this giveaway - VERY excited!
Something about me: I'm a mother, and active-duty Air Force with an amazing SAHD husband!!
Great giveaway - love that Moda scrap bag!
Quirky thing about me? I talk to myself all the time. Not asking questions; just telling myself stuff. I have yet to talk back to myself, though! ;)
A funny thing happened to me when I first began to quilt, I was overly enthused , I got a book out from the library and read all of it and when I went to get my supply list at the quilt shop, the lady who helped me told me I did not need all that stuff on my list, I argued yes I do, no you dont she said and we went back and forth until I said Lady the book says this, she says I wrote the book and you dont need all that stuff LOL LOL !!!Patchworksails, Izzy
Love your site...Something quirky about me...I really get into the holiday decorating thing and have three closets full of my homemade decos. Please don't tell my kids...
Something quirky hmmm. Well I hate shopping. My friends are always trying to get me to buy new clothes but I can't stand going to stores and trying things on. The one exception is fabric stores....
What a great give away! And thank you for showing all those beautiful quilts!
My confession -I call myself a quilter, but I have only made small quilting projects as bags and table runners and so.
And I do have two kits for real quilts waiting to be done. I guess I am a "wanna be quilter".
oH I 'd like to join the La petite but I can't because I am a snail.I quilt like a snail and all by hand ,and I am french ,and french snails are the slower in the world ... but I am a snail who would like to win a wonderful giveaway..
Best wishes from France
Your quilts are beautiful!
I am a new quilter but have been sewing for 35 years!
Thanks for the lovely giveaway
What a wonderful, wonderful parade...it sure was a lot of fun!
Thanks so much for hosting the Year of Schnibbles. I had LOTS of fun and am looking forward to the new year....I covered BOTH of my ironing boards and am really enjoying them...photos to come.
Hmmm...so many to choose from. I met my now-husband on the chunnel train from Paris to London on my 21st Birthday.
What a beautiful picture of your give away goodies! I had a nice quilt show as well. I really shouldn't spend all my time reading blogs!:) Oh well. Something quirky...... You would have to talk to me face to face to get it, but I always put people in good moods by the things I say and the body language I use. Most people find me a little bit odd since I'm no longer a teenager LOL
This is fun. Lets see, please don't tell anyone, but I put ketchup on top of my mashed potatoes and gravey. ( gota have both, gravey and ketchup ) sounds gukkie but its good !
Thanks, Madamquiltsalot ~ Linda
deckhoff8514@esagelink.com
I have flown completely around the world - twice in one year:) thx for the beautiful giveaway!
I am afraid of mice, yes I know they are smaller than me and more of afraid of me than I can possibly be of them (ha!). I have been known to run from a building if I see one.
Hmmm something quirky...my husband and I met on the internet, and have now been married 13 years, just proves that internet romances can work :)
Love your quilts. Love pincushions. Fall decorations are waiting in the living room for me to put them out!
Quirky? Not sure, but I seem to be permanently attached to earbuds for my MP3. I listen to audio books constantly. You can sew, do housework or work in the yard and still be totally entertained by a great story. Loved you photo show.
What a lovely Schnibbles Parade with the different Schnibbles made!
OK, you want to know something quirky about me ... I didn't even know what quirky meant. Now, if that's not quirky.
What an enormously generous and beautiful giveaway!
Here is one that just happened last night!
We were at the neighbors on a typical Friday night. A few beers, a bonfire, and fun conversation....nothing unusual right? Until my neighbor noticed he was running out of wood. My husband decides to go home to get some of ours....and comes back with my cow (a fairly large wooden cow used for placing potted plants on). And decided to burn the cow! It seemed very wrong to me, but it was kind of funny to see the huge cow on top of this already large fire.
Warning: alcohol and fires are a bad mix.
It was funny until the cow fell off the fire and we had to drag out the hose.
Chris
Oh my, you really want us to put it out there, huh? First off, let me say, Happy Birthday!
I have read your blog alot and just love your Schibbles and think it's wonderful that you did it. I didn't find Schnibbles until it was too late to get in but want to do some soon. Your Schnibbles parade was great, thanks so much for sharing.
I don't know if this is quirky but it's me...I'm very OCD about everything. I have to stop myself from alphabetizing everything, I'm a list maker and put everything on lists. I drive myself crazy. I could go on but I'm not going to make a list here too! Thanks for having such a great giveaway. Your little pumpkin is precious and I love the wool and patterns. Have a great weekend!
I'm not sure I can top the quirky comments I've seen, they're pretty wild. The only thing I can think of is that I love reptiles and have owned, simultaneously, a Bearded Dragon, a Iguana, along with 2 dogs, 2 gerbils, and a guinea pig.
Beautiful schnibbles quilts! My confession: I am hooked on chocolate milk!
Great giveaway.
As a child I had a pet caterpillar called Josephine. (Turned into a moth eventually)
What an awesome giveaway prize, I would love to win! There are so many quirky things about me...hmmm, I believe I have an abnormal fear of spiders. My daughter recently found one in her bathroom, but neither of us could kill. It was gone by the time my husband got home...I still have not set foot in that bathroom. I can't even bring myself to open the door and look in. Guess someone else gets to do the cleaning! :)
Quirky....hmm. Well I like to organize everything by color and patterns....not just fabric, dishes, my pantry, pots - you get the idea...My husband says I am Obsessive Compulsive, my 20 somthingsdaughters say I am neurotic, my 3 year old son thinks I am great and does the same thing with his toys. I think I am organized. I love your blog - thanks for the pretty quilt pictures and the chance to win!

Who doesn't love a parade, and it was beautiful! So inspiring!
Quirky for me, well, actually for my family is that I say " wait, I have to put my glasses on so I can hear you!"
Love the giveaway.

True confession, great comment idea. I knew my husband 3 days when he proposed to me. We got married 6 weeks later, and have been married all but 29 years.
And if one of my kids pulled this, I might have to kill them!!
Thanks for a chance to win your lovely gifts!
I've heard of Schnibbles before but still don't know quite what they are. Little scraps of fabric?
Something funny? Earlier this summer I made a tiny tote for a prim Annie doll. I was in such a hurry to get it finished I sewed the straps on wrong! My daughter noticed and brought it to my attention. Every time I saw that tote I noticed the straps going the wrong way. I finally took them loose and fixed it! I still can't believe that I did that LOL
BTW, that's one awesome giveaway!
Love the pictures! And awesome giveaway!!! A quirky thing about me is that growing up, my mother always used to annoy me by making up songs and singing to us kids and the dogs... Now, I make up songs and sing to my dogs. I have turned into my mother!!! ARGH!!! lol
Oh, the show and tell was so great. Such inspiration!
What a very generous giveaway you are having.
Something quirky? Maybe OCD but I really like my kitchen to have everything in its place especially stuff on the counters.
Great to see all of the schnibbles and fun to check on the blogs for the fall into fall
Thanks
Regena
Your parades are always the best! Thanks for all your hard work; it makes blogging and participating fun.
My quirky story for your giveaway is that I go around my house clapping. I do. If I do a good job at cleaning, if the wind is blowing happily out my window causing the trees to sway merrily, if I get a fun phone call, win a wonderful prize, or think a particularly happy thought, I clap. Truly, it's the funnest exercise to do! :) Thanks!
First, Happy Birthday!
Second, I'm a new follower and am looking forward to your posts!
Third, I like to sleep with my feet hanging off the bottom of the bed. When my husband told me he does that too, I knew it was true love!
Something quirky about me? Hm. I have to check every part of my bed (without taking it apart) and every corned of the room for bugs/spiders before I shut the light off at night!
Great giveaway though! Thanks so much! The pumpkin pincushion sounds adorable.
How much beautiful work, I confess that my passion is cross stitch for eight years, however, since last year I'm learning patchwork, my dream is to make a wonderful quilt as I've seen on your blog and with beautiful fabrics.
Fabulous gifts, I love it.
Please add my name to draw.
I'm new follower.
Greetings
Quirky ... oh dear ...
I love when it rains! Is that quirky? I am a perfectionist - but totally chaotic ... at the same time! I hate housework but love doing laundry! Well, hope that is quirky enough to enter ... :-)
Thanks for the great giveaway! You are of course very welcome to stop over at my blog and enter my giveaway ... you could win some custom-made buttons ...
Have a lovely weekend!

Something quirky about me...I were a tiny scissors necklace and have been since 1996 when I made my first 2 quilts for a brother and sister that got married in the same year just 3 months apart. It was a gift to me for making their quilts. People either guess that I cut hair or that I sew. Quilter to be exact!
Thanks for a chance at your giveaway!
LOVED the quilt show!!!
Hmmm...a confession? I have so many!! Let's see.....I can't jump on a trampoline....I will leave the reason to your imagination.
What a fun parade to view! Amazing!! I like to wear Christmas socks all year round. It keeps me happy!
Wonderful fabrics !
Look in for me gift
Thank you opportunity Marika
Loved the schibbles parade. What an awesome giveaway. I'm a pretty boring person. Quirky--I mix up my left and right alot.
Something quirky- My feet get hot so I hate wearing socks- the temperature has to plummet before I can stand to wear them.
Thanks for hosting such a wonderful giveaway- your prize winner will love it when you draw their name.
Regards from Western Canada,
Anna
I enjoyed the view of all the quilts--looking at the color choices in the quilts was like receiving a free lesson in how to use color. What talented quilters!
I have lots of quirks, but I live alone so no one has to know about them! In fact, living alone probably makes me more quirky as I age. You've put together a lovely giveaway of gifts for a lucky winner. Thanks very much.
LOVE the parade of quilts!!
Thanks for the fun giveaway, hope I win, the stuff is super!
Quirky....I once fell out of an elevated booth at a resturant. And I hadn't had a single drink! Just ploop...on the floor I went?!?! Hubbie, which was not hubbie at the time, just got up and walked out. He (why was he?) was so embarrassed...how did he think I felt??
My husband and I brew beer together. We have a lot of fun, and it's pretty darn good stuff!!!
Great giveaway. Thanks!
hmmmmmmm...I hate to tell my quirks. Here's a not so bad one. For some reason I count how long it takes me to put my hair up in hot rollers.......that's quirky.
Billie in TX
Ok something quirky about me.... I might be a little boring. I hate vegetables! But my kids haven't figured out that I don't ever have them on my plate. Bc of course I make them eat them. One time I told them the green beans were green french fries. You should have seen the look on their faces when they bit into it and figured out it tasted nothing like a French fry!
Hi Sweetie...
I am so thrilled to have met you through this blog HOP. That is one of the nice things about a blog hop you can make new friends and learn about new crafts and new ideas.
I love your giveaway. What a beautiful treasure of gifts give with such love.
I love the Schnibbles. I believe that my favorite was the cotton candy. It was so beautiful, and thank you for sharing all of them with me. Just gorgeous.
Now you asked for something quirky about ourselves. Well for me it is a black cat. Yes you are right, I am one of those, if I am driving and one crosses the street in front of me, I brake, do a u-turn and head the other direction. My DH can attest to this fact. I have been that way forever.
I am Country Wings In Phoenix, your newest follower. I can't wait to see what you share next. I love your blog home. Please stop by and say hi. I would be so honored if you signed up to follow my blog as well. I love meeting new friends and sharing ideas.
Country hugs, Sherry
Lovely giveaway, and beautiful quilt pics too! Thanks so much for sharing all of them. Nothing much quirky about me, but most people seem surprised when they find out I have a 20 year old daughter, a 7 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. What can I say? 28 years of marriage and we are thrilled with these gifts that God has given us, all in His time, not ours! Oh yes, and today is my 48th birthday!
MGM
I love the schibbles quilts. Thanks for the pictures and the giveaway. Here is my quirk. I have a great deal of trouble with down escalators. I have to wait for the right step! Don't have any trouble with the up, only the down.
Loved seeing all the Schnibbles! Can't believe how many stuck with it throughout the year. Goes to show what great projects they are. I'm a little quirky in my sewing room neatness - I just can't work when things are piled all around as they sometimes are. So then I neatly put everything away ...and then can't find what I need. I drive myself crazy!
hmmm, i'm double jointed? lol
thanx for the chance
I learned to quilt on the internet in the early 1990s when all we had were email newsgroups, listserves email, and ascii drawings.
What a wonderful bunch of goodies!
I am a stay-at-home Mother of 4. I freely confess to having crafting ADD! Currently I have two knitting projects, one embroidery project, one hand sewing project and a quilt in progress! I can't help myself, I love to start new projects!!!
Lovely giveaway! The quirky thing about me according to my family is that I am a grouch if I do not sew every chance I get.
I met my husband accidentally on the internet. We keep that hidden because we neither one were looking for another marriage at all!! I thought he knew my grandma, and started chatting with him about her (she lives in a small farm town and I didnt live near her).
We've been married for 2 1/2 yrs. :)
I'm the bug killer in our house. Wasps, bees, spiders, and other creepy crawlies are on my hit list. I do take the little salamanders outside and I only remove bugs if they're in the house. Bugs can be outside all they want, but not IN the house.
My 6'4" husband squeals like a young girl if something flutters near him. I have to step up and take care of the situation for him, ha ha! Don't worry honey; I'll protect you!
And the possum in the yard? I had to take care of that too. My husband claimed he didn't "have the right shoes" on to take go check out the possum! Possums are just not cute.
Oh! And when my husband and I were first married he stepped on something furry in the bathroom! That was a big squeal! (from him) I went to check it out and it was a squirrel! It ran behind the bowl of the toilet and I grabbed a towel, threw it over the squirrel, drug him out, and then took him outside!
Well, I probably would have squealed if I had stepped on something furry in the bathroom in the middle of the night. Ewwww!
Love the photo parade.
I don't like to drive........I'm so afraid of getting lost don't like the freeways. The only time I every drive the freeways is when I go to Canada. My sense of direction is very bad and my husband says "if I turn around in my backyard I will get lost".
We travel to Canada often as all my family live there. The first time I drove....I white knuckled it all the way to the border. In the 8 years we've been living in Michigan driving back to Canada by myself has only happened 3 times. I still follow my husband to the Ambassador Bridge and I take 2 GPS's with me just in case 1 of them fails. This is so quirky but sooooo true.
Thanks for the great giveaway! I love the pumpkin and am so glad I've found your blog :-)
Hm... quirky, eh? I'm not sure about quirky but I once taught at an elementary school where we were "lucky" enough to have bomb drills in addition to fire drills...
Hum, I’m not sure about quirky but I have been told that I tend to be “old fashion” and I love having that title. I love learning skills of the past like making homemade lye soap and quilt making.
I loved the parade and am so mad at myself for not participating in the Year of Schnibbles. I plan to join in this year's activities. I'm not covering my ironing board though, because I use a large rectangular ironing surface (like 36"x54") that is gridded in one-inch squares so I don't want to cover it.
Something that I guess is quirky about me is that I'm naturally pretty flexible, and on my 50th birthday last year I did a cartwheel and the splits at the Homecoming Pep Assembly at the high school where I was teaching.
I'm a Quirky Quilter. A year ago this is what we named our Quilt group.
Yikes! I have to admit to something quirky? Hmmm. Well I am afraid of fire so badly that I cannot light a candle, set the pilot light on the oven, light the charcoal on the grill, etc... I stand far away as possible when someone else does these things. I guess it started when I was about 4 and got my finger burned when I stuck it in an open flame on the stove. Either that or my brain has quirks.
awesome giveaway! let's see, quirky....I ran down the comments to see what others consider quirky and I found one lady does what I do, sleep with a fan (for ambient noise) all year around. but I can one up her....I also put in 1 - yes one - earplug halfway through the night. Just the ear that faces up! =D
whimsyfox@gmail.com
Thanks for the great giveaway!
I'm a tatter, and I will even tat when I queue up at the bank, at the bus-interchange, in fact, wherever!
Something quirky about me...
once I had a temporary job, being in the office of a headstone maker.. I had to dust all the headstones in the showroom
Thanks for sharing the parade of quilts. I love to see what everyone is making. Please enter my name in your drawing.
Hello once again, it seems I am one of the no-reply bloggers. With this comment I am hoping to correct my mistake. My blog is My Homemade Life and my user name is sewsecret. My e-mail is sewsecret (at) gmail (dot) com. I hope it is not too late to correct my mistake. Thank you.
Oh, my guilty little pleasure is
taking a "secret" short nap with my
Golden Retriever George after work
each day before my husband gets home!
Thanks so much for the opportunity to
participate in the Fall giveaway!
oh, a fun giveaway post. I've bookmarked so I can look at all those blogs more closely with such great work. :D
Funny story: I took many years of spanish but never used it. The hubs went to Puerto Rico for work and I finally started using it 1/2-way into the trip. At the end, at a gas station hubs couldn't find the men's room and asked me to go in and ask (they were all speaking spanish in this area, no English translations like you see elsewhere).I went in, couldn't find it either so asked the attendent, in spanish for the men's room. He replied, in spanish, the women's? I answered, in spanish, no the men's. He switched to English (by now we had 4 people watching with interest) and asked, the women's? Again, I replied, in English, the men's.
He told me it was outside around the building. Okay, gracias. Their curiosity was palpable as I walked away. I went out, feeling 5 sets of eyes watching me and promptly told the hubs.
there is so many lovely quilts to look at here, I will have to come back for a closer look, about me. well I seem to be spending to much time on the compute rat the moment and haven't yet learned how to sew at the same time.
Love all the quilts....especially the X rated one *winks*
Something funny about me...when I was 12 I fell into, yes into! a flower pot and broke my arm....it was a huge concrete one that was almost 2 inches thick, and I whacked my arm on the top rim....yowch. Still, I shouldn't have been trying to leap over it in the snow either, but we won't go there...lol
Hugs
Naomi
I don't know if this is quirky but for the past few months every time I say something to my kids it always rhymes. They keep telling me I am rhyming again.
True confession.......one year at Christmas, I opened all my gifts while my mom was at work and rewrapped them...Christmas day was not nearly as exciting that year and I never did it again! SSSHHH...don't tell her LOL!
How about the fact that I can actually get lost when using a satnav in the car? It wasn't my fault, honest, it was the satnav that got it wrong!
I have become addicted to selvages and have become a selvage hoarder. I have several large shopping bags full and I still want more!
Okay, something quirky about me. None of my bedding matches - the pillowcases are both different, the sheets don't match the pillowcase, the comforters don't match any of the above, and none of it matches the paint on the wall. Oh yeah, and my pajama top doesn't match the pajama bottom, or any of the bedding.
something quirky about me... when i am sick, i clean. the cleaner my house is the sicker i am! right now i am miserable with a cold and i have been scrubbing baseboards and rewashing all my dished by hand. Weird huh? hubby called earlier and i told him what i was doing, he asked do you need to go to hospital, lol!! i am a little weird

Thank you for wonderful give away!
Quirky? I don't like to go barefoot! Not even in the house :)
SheilaC
my gosh, what an array of schnibbles, they are gorgeous!!! can;t wait to se what La Petite has to offer!! More beautiful eye candy Im sure.
Thanks for joining the blog hop and offering such a wonderful collection of quilt items, be sure to come by mine too.
Quirky - okay, can't sleep without earplugs. Thanks for a chance.
count me in. I love those patterns
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway! I am a quirky person altogether! As far as my projects go...I jump from task to task, and rarely get things finished! I will literally leave a piece half sewn in the machine and jump to the cutting table to cut out something else then leave that half cut and go iron a totally unrelated project...it can go on all day! I am the QUEEN of UFO'S!!!
I broke my foot several years ago when I made the poor choice to stand on the toilet to reach a far corner of the bathroom I was painting. Boy, did I feel dumb.
tinkermans.daughter@gmail.com
One year for Christmas I got a chainsaw as a gift!
While reading over some of the other comments there was one from a woman that broke her foot standing on the toilet. It brought back memories of when I was running to answer the phone, fell and broke my hand.
Thanks for the chance to win your lovely give away.
What a generous giveaway, thank you for the chance to win. Let's see something funny....when I was at college my freshman year, my grandmother had to move in with my parents due to some health issues. When I returned home for the summer, I was not ready for the extra person in the house. One morning while using the only bathroom in house for a bath, my mom came in and whipped the curtain shut saying that it was an emergency and my grandma had to use the bathroom. My mom had a bit too much trust in grandma's balance and she fell in the tub on top of me. Of course, I could not see it coming and my mom was chanting "you saved grandma, you save grandma". Till this day, if you bring this story up....my mom will still say...you saved grandma. LOL...I'd love to win it all but I am particularly fond of that adorable pumpkin
I just joined blogspot and created my blog. I also just became a follower of your blog. All those gorgeous quilts equal inspiration!
Other than a large collection of fabric, I stash books! Love them and thus my husband has now bought me an e-reader, so he doesn't have to build an addition. Recently, I went shopping and purchased a used book for my daughter. When I brought it home, she reminded me I bought it a couple years ago and put up on the shelf for her to read when she was older. Guess now's the time. haha! Oops!
Beautiful quilts, Schibbling sounded like fun. Thanks for a great giveaway
I can't remember if I commented already (sorry if I have) I didn't join schnibbles but I sure wish I had. I had fun seeing everyone's quilts.
Promote your giveaway on the new Quilty Giveaways site (it's free) help me grow a one stop site of fellow quilters that are hosting giveaways. Don't forget to follow the new site too!

Ummm, I am so claustrophobic, I can't wear clothes that go over my head...yeah, crazy, I know! Thanks for the givaway and for the wonderful year of Schnibbles! i really enjoyed it and getting to know you! Polly
Your parade of Schnibbles was great- Thanks
Something quirky? I always think I forgot to turn my iron off so one trip my DH put it in the trunk.
A secret about me...???I have a super amazing, talented, sweet, awesome mother in law. WAIT that isn't a secret. DARN I have no secrets with you so I guess I can't enter! =)
Today I ran the dryer to "fluff up" the load I had left in there two days ago, only to discover that it was empty and I had already but all the clothes away! I'm off to put away the load that was waiting it's turn in the washer now.
I am a mother of 4 children. Something that is quirky about that is three of those children are triplets and my father was one of a set of triplets.
