A Charming Pile of Things To Do

I am going to give the Charming Guys & Girls Club another try. They amazingly agreed to keep me! The idea is to get things done: list them the first of the month- show finished works at the end of the month.
I have serveral things that need to get finished but I'm going to try and keep my projects for March reasonable. What scares me the most is to see it all written down in front of me. But here I go anyway. Kelly, I hope you are listening!
I had just finished my Vintage Pink & White Snowball... and must have rushed it at the end. I ended up with these terrible borders. So 1st on my list is to take off these borders and put them on again. Measure first! I don't think I have ever done this before!?*!#@! How embarrasing!
I really can't believe that I just exposed myself like that! Don't even look at this poor border! Seriously!
My Bunny Hill Snowbound BOM will be next to do! I didn't want to get behind on this, like I did the A Tiskit A Tasket BOM, but I'm behind- Jan., Feb... and now March! This is just to cute not to get done so it's 2nd on my list!
Oh, and the Jelly Roll Sampler... it just started March 1. We will get two blocks to do in March. So this is #3 on my list.

I have a Schnibbles to do also. Well, not this one. My Cindy Lou Who is done, months ago. But I do have the "next one" to get finished. A surprise Schnibbles is 4th on my list.

I didn't finish my Schnibbles for March either. I still have to get Roundabout quilted. So this is on the list. Numero Cinco!

Uh, well, I might as well throw this one into the mix to. It's the project for the Fig Tree Club.
I have to have it made and ready by Saturday. This Saturday. That makes #6!

This is a photo of the pattern I made, but I didn't get it quilted(I forgot my camera cord, otherwise I would show you a picture of the unfinished table runner). So I'm putting this on the list also and I am going to go ahead and quilt it along with my Schnibbles! Number 8.

Well, that looks like what I'm looking at for this month.

5 blocks to make.
2 projects to quilt.
1 border to redo.
1 Schnibbles & 1 FT Club project to make.
Easy peasy!
I know (and pray) that each and everyone of you reading my post have lists just as long, if not longer!
And I am thankful that I am not alone.
What's on your plate?

Well, misery loves company and I have tons to do, and leaving in a week for almost 3wks.... got to get 5 projects done, a valance covered, dog bathed, and prepare some hand applique to take with me, since my machine is not going - and..... it has not been feeling well lately - the machine, I mean. I have faith you will prioritize and get the most important ones done on the list - I forgot how long you had to do them.... Good luck, will check in! Linda P

You are definitely going to be a busy girl! I like having a plan to follow; do you allow yourself the time and leisure to be spontaneous and "play" a little bit?

Well, I just redid a border for the 3rd time! I can't believe I messed up twice!
Good luck with all your great projects. :)
My list is too long to write! lol

Welcome back to the Charming Guys and Girls Club - making a list has really helped me. I don't get everything done but I don't fret about it. LOL Just have fun.

Oh my, that's quite a list! I think writing it down is the first step to being successful, Good Luck!!

Thanks for showing your ruffled border picture. It's a good reminder to all of us that haste does make waste. But you know, we've all been there!

I'm not in the club - but it's something I do every month or I seem to get nothing finished. There are just so many cute projects to work on that it's easy to get distracted! All really cute quilts - you'll have a fun month!

I'm cheering you on...I know you will do it! It's a wonderful list with wonderful projects. I need to get my list done.

Don't fret too much about the wonky border. I did that recently too, and it didn't come to light until I got it to the quilters. Talk about embarrassing. I just slunk out of there with my rumply bordered quilt and hurried home and re-did it. It was such a pain, I swear I will not let it happen to me again.

You go girl...my biggest problem is staying focused! I get so distracted with all the possibilities and fabrics. I think a list like you have will help immensely! Have fun stitching!

You goals for the month are doable! I know you will get every one done! I LOVE your roundabout! You fabricchoice there is awesome! I have a question for you. You mentioned that you participated in the previous free BOM Tisket A Tasket...I discovered it too late- the blocks are no longer on her website. I was wondering if you have them all, would you be willing to share them with me? I would be soooo grateful! Polly

My plate runneth over, and that's "normal" for me. Good for you to make a list and face those (all of them wonderful) projects head on. I have yet to do that, don't know if I want to do that just yet :-) I'm cheering you on to the finish or should I say "finishes".
