But before I get to Le Petite... I have been dying to show you something!
Do you remember when I gave you a little sneak peak at something?
Well, now I can show you.... meet Sophie's Bloomers!
Becky from Sweet Cottage Dreams, who I absolutely love, has started up a line of patterns!
And this purse is her debut pattern! I had the privilege of working on it in it's baby stages to see how it all
came together! Today Becky has let the cat out of the bag and to celebrate she is having a
"Bloomin' giveaway"!!! So go over to visit her blog and enter to win. But if you don't win, don't worry, there is always a pattern to make one of your very own! Now that I see the ones that Becky made... I want more!
And now let's talk... Le Petite!
It was such a pleasant surprise to see how many people joined in for the first project of Le Petite!
I hope everyone who stopped by enjoyed the parade of quilts. And we added some that were missed in the first posting... so you might want to take another look at the great versions that were created.
It is always fun to have the opportunity to see the same quilt done in so many different
fabric groups. When I made my new project for Le Petite I had no idea that
Sherri was making her Butter Churn quilt
in those fun bright colors...
it was like night and day, mine being the night!
But I did get the borders on the quilt that I wanted to do and here is the top now:
We need to follow up and pick some winners for the Paganini Parade.
If your name is picked (well, they are all randomly generated) please send either Sherri or me
an email with your address so that we can forward your information to the store.
And just so you know... the pattern for Butter Churn, which is the next Le Petite project
can be ordered through any of our featured quilt shops!
The first prize will be from Carrie (and Miss Rosie)
She has a special little bit of goodness from Fall Market! ... and the winner is:
Anne from Quiltoholiker blog!
The winner of the gift certificate from Quilt Taffy is:
Eileen from My Quilting Porch
and next we have our last prize...
