I was going to say up my kazoo...
coming out my ears...
well, you get the picture!
I have all 128 made now for my Coastal Lily quilt.
There was so much being cut away that I had to
save the cut away parts... I am not sure what I am going to make,
but I am pretty sure it is going to be something BIG!
That is a whole lot of scrap/waste.
I have been spending so much time on "nothing" that I can't remember
what Coastal Lily is suppose to look like.
Seriously.

And then,
While working on that project, I neglected this project.
I was making Retro from the Simply Retro book.
I joined the group that is making each quilt from the book, but
I have fallen behind, and NOW they have moved on to the next quilt!
I have lots of blocks, ready to sew together.
I wonder if I will be able to do some catch up sewing
over the weekend?
I have a long list of that already.
I have 2 blocks to make for my Bees Knees group,
my Fat Quarter Shop Deckade block of the month,
a Schnibbles of course,
now Wagon Wheel
and that is just the current list!
I also read a wonderful little something about Lori Holt's
row along...
It's going to be made into a book!
So if you are like me and missed that one...
here is a wonderful chance to do it!
And the book will have several other
projects in it too!
How many hours are in the weekend?
9 friends stopped by to chat:
There are never enough hours in the weekend, but it looks like you have a good head start! :)
That's a lot of yo yos!!!
xo Kris
All those yoyos look like you have been in the kitchen, baking coffee kisses!
What a wonderful, wonderful list you have! If I find any extra hours over the weekend I'll sure send them your way! Have FUN!
I didn't do Lori's Row Along, and have regretted it--I will definitely need that book!! Love the yoyos!
You make such nice quilts that I'm curious - what do you do with them when they're finished? I can't imagine enough room to display them all and they're too pretty to just put in a big pile in a cupboard.
Your post made me smile. I too have so many ideas and plans and wonder where to find the time. I did get my Schnibbles together and hope to get it quilted. Love the yo yo's!
Oh Sinta...OH, OH...I know the answer to the question ... is there a prize involved???? The Question is "How Many Hours are there in a Weekend"? The answer is "NOT ENOUGH"...*and the audience goes wild*!!! Sorry Sinta, I couldn't resist it, I've been in bed sick/sleeping for 5 days and I'm completely giddy just to be vertical for a few hours, so I got carried away, LOL. Like you, I too missed out on Lori's Row Along and so sad that I did, but it seems we got a reprieve didn't we? Love your yoyos and the bonus blocks from the cut away pieces. I love to do that. I have oodles, truly, over 3,000 2 1/2" squares that I am sewing together as leaders and enders and the stacks are growing fast. I'm just going to keep them coming till I have lots and lots of rows and a great big quilt made just from these squares. My SIL did one and it is absolutely gorgeous. So much lovely fabric goes to waste and it is so sad. Okay, head is spinning, going to sit in my recliner for a bit. Not vertical, but not the bed either, LOL. Hugs...
Not enough, that's for sure! I was just looking over my pile of projects thinking the same thing! Then I placed my order for more fabric........and its not even for projects I've started yet. Help Me! Oh, let me know if you figure out how to add a few more hours in there! LOL!!
