Midweek Mosiac

I love seeing all the gorgeous quilts made with Midwinter Reds.
This is such a great line of fabric. It could be my favorite
from M&S to date. And I do believe I have had almost all of them!

I have only done a little bit of work on my Nantucket quilt
but I really like the way it is coming along.
I love this fabric.
I have never made a red and white quilt before...
and this group is perfect for my first crack at it!

I did make some good progress...

Here is my center stars!

But then I got a little bit diverted by this little project:

Isn't this a cute pattern...
it's a freebie from Camille at Thimble Blossoms!
Just print it out and grab some treasured scraps and
play!
It was so fun... I want to do it again!

Cute little umbrellas Sinta! Nice distraction Camille provided but I can't wait to see our Nantucket! Thelma's is very pretty and I'm sure Nicole's will be too...Yours will be as sweet, I'm sure.

I've got a large stash of charms, so I'm trying to decide which to use for Raincheck

I took a little diversion yesterday too, but plan to get back to Nantucket tomorrow, first thing!

Mid Winter is lovely, perfect! Just a "me" style of fabric. Your quilt progress is coming along really well. I shall enjoy seeing the finished quilt.

I completely agree with you on the Midwinter Reds. I love all of their fabric, but this might just be my favorite. I also like your new blog header!

I really like those red stars. That's a quilt that would be so nice in our new home....but I wasn't wise in snagging the kit!
