BOM Rehab: Were You There?

It's the new year and time to rev up the BOM REHAB group!

Did you have a chance to play in the rehab over the weekend?

There are a couple new sew along's starting and I was anxious to
participate in them. But I am even more anxious to see what you have been up to!

I made a block for the Pam Buda's Orphans and Scraps Sew Along.

I dug into my Civil War fabric collection and came up with this
group to play with.

I also made another block for the Blogger Girls BOM
with Monique from Open Gate.  I'm not sure I like this one
as well as my last block using the same pattern... I might have to change it up a little... maybe a lot!

Here is the other block.

I also am doing some stitching with the pearl cotton around my applique
blocks for my Quilt Soup Mystery BOM.
Do you have any BOM Rehab to share?

Reflecting on 2012

Warning: lots of photos ahead!
There were a couple of very small projects.

Pam Buda's Pocket Patchwork.

and the one below is a little block of the week by Temecula Quilt Co.

These are the 3 mice I had made

as a giveaway on my blog earlier this year.

And some large projects...
This was my tribute the the Olympics in England.

I made this up for my swap partner Jen!

Something for the holidays!

This was for Thelma and Nicole's challenge.

I made this for Geared for Guys Remix... girlie version of Ivy League.

I had to attempt a Cathedral Windows pillow and then taught it at my retreat.

Some nice results from being the  BOM Rehab!

2011

2010
I actually finished 2 old block of the month projects that I had been behind in.

2 baby quilts...

A kite quilt made from a jelly roll.

I made 2 projects for the Fat Quarter Shop that they have kitted.

The kits are still available at FQS!
My year couldn't be complete without some Fig Tree projects...

Le Petite
(my very favorite)

Boardwalk made with California Girl.

Sparkle made from Tula Pink fabric.

Marigold got slipped in between Christmas and New Year's!

The next quilts are my Schnibble projects... minus one because I
dislike it very much! Let's just say it was a very bad Summer Day!

Morsel

Drop

Card Trick

Bounce

Hot Cross

?
T quilt
Speck

ISTH
Leap Year

and a quilt called Papalion using 3 Sisters fabrics. I still haven't gotten a photo of it. Here is a
photo of the pattern.

Full House

I'll say a full house... that totals 32!
The bad news is only 5 have been quilted...
looks like that will be my goal for 2013!

Blue & Brown with a Dash of Polka Dots

I couldn't resist,
couldn't wait a moment...
to make one of the blocks from Open Gate!
It's a free six month block of the month from Monique D. called Blogger Girls BOM.
Several bloggette's are helping her and you can
see different versions of this same block
on their blogs.

I plan on making a second block of this pattern...
so that I can have 12 all together.
I have a nice little collection of scraps from a friend that she was getting
rid of... fabrics and colors that I would not normally gravitate to but
like them just the same. I  am happy to be using them for this project.

Last evening I went to a meeting at my local quilt guild
and this was one of the quilts that was in the Show and Tell.
The person said that it had been a block of the month but
she did her own setting for it which was replicated from a
1800's quilt to go on her antique bed.
I think it is so beautiful so she let me take a photo...
I thought I would share it with you.
What do you think?
