Over the weekend I looked at quilts that I might want to enter into our County Fair.
Here are the ones I thought might be good contenders:
This was a Jan Patek pattern.
This one was from an Acorn Quilt & Co. pattern.
This was a Fig Tree pattern.
The one here on the table (with the checkerboard around the block) was one of the quilts I had entered
a few years ago... it won the Blue Ribbon Judges Choice and Viewers Choice. I haven't entered anything since... I didn't want to press my luck if you know what I mean!
39 friends stopped by to chat:
I pick the Jan Patek quilt. Although I love them all.
Fig Tree... or all of em!
I can see why it won a blue ribbon. I vote for the first one (Jan Patek)... It's beautiful!
I love them all, but the first one might "show" the best. It's a little more graphic. Good Luck!
I love "For my Grandma's" and I have made it, too!
I would choose the Jan Patek one. All are gorgeous.
This is a hard pick, but I vote for the Jan Patek quilt. I think you may be a ribbon winner again this year!!
They are all lovely - can you enter them all??
I like them all too! If you can't put all 3 in, how about the first one and the third one? :-)
i love them all too, each for different reasons..........
beautiful work!!!! cyndi
Personally, the one from the Acorn Quilt & Co. pattern, is my favorite! But they are all beautiful! Good luck!
Your quilts are all wonderful and I love your prizewinning one as well! I think I would choose the Jan Patek one as well because it speaks up for itself.
Enjoy and good luck!
You certainly don't make it easy -- they're all beautiful! I think I'm leaning a little more toward the Jan Patek quilt, though. Love the stars.
I love the Acorn Quilt Co.. they are all very beautiful.
I can't decide...can you enter all of them? They are all gorgeous!!
Paulette
I really like the first one!
Oh, I don't know - I just don't know. :-) Well, I do love the Jan Patek quilt so that's my vote.
If you choose to enter the Jan Patek quilt, I think you'll be bringing home a blue ribbon again!
Gosh, Sinta, they are all gorgeous! My personal favorite is the Acorn Quilt & Co. one. However, I do agree with the consensus here that you would probably have a Blue Ribbon Winner with the Jan Patek quilt!
XOXO,
Cyndi
I love all three but vote for the first (Jan Patek), wonderful !
Good luck.
Definitely a difficult choice. I think they are all very pretty, but I think would go for the second one!
Oh that's so hard...they are all wonderful...what to pick...I think the Jan Patek one or the Acorn Quilt Company one...they are all so wonderful...Oh I said that already!
Oh boy. I say all three because I can't chose only one.
I love all your quilt choices but I think I would vote for the Fig Tree (if only one could be submitted). I love the border on it.
I really don't think you could go wrong with anyone of them they are all so beautiful! But I love the colors in the Jan Patek quilt!
Thanks it reminded me that I should put somethings in the fair this year!
I'd pick the Acorn Quilts one....or all of them.
They are all beautiful, Sinta. But my favorite is the Acorn Quilt Co. design.
I am leaning towards the Jan Patek quilt. All are beautiful however, and as Mandy suggested, how about entering all of them!
My vote is for the Acorn Quilt & Co quilt. It looks so delicate, and is the one I'd personally want to examine closer. They are all lovely, though. Please do enter, and please let us know the outcome!
They are all beautiful. But if I had to pick one, it would be the first one :-)
I love the Acorn & Quilt co. and the last one. Your work is really beautiful!!!
I think you should enter the first one if you can only enter one. Blue and brown are a hot combination these days and I like the overall look of that one--I think it will show best.
Oh my gosh they are all really fantastic.
I choose the Jan Patek quilt.
Hi Sinta, My July Scnibbles is done. Loved that pattern. It's posted here: http://hyacinthquiltdesigns.blogspot.com/2010/07/joy-luck-schnibbles.html
They all are perfect to enter!!
How many can you enter? If you have to pick I love the Fig Tree quilt ,but they are all beautiful.
Oh, they would all win if I were judging! I do like the winning one, too!
first one! all beauties! good luck!
