I Need Some Help

It only takes me about a half a second to near the end of a project...
and my mind starts churning with the prospect of the NEXT
project.
Of course it is a long  "Summer Fun" list!
So picking a pattern from the list is easy.
And I have my fabrics picked.

I just need to decide which version!
Both Bounce and Evening Blooms
have alternate versions to the patterns.
I need some help!
You can see Thelma's version of Evening Blooms here.
But I am leaning towards the version in the photo.
Coincidentally Thelma did the cover version of bounce
but there is another version that Carrie did with a
solid star center that you can see here.

I love the Bounce quilt but really both quilts are just wonderful and the favorite fabric choices are great.

I love bounce. I actually just ironed marmalade fat quarters to start my bounce quilt!

I love the Bounce quilt & the fabric you picked too. I really love Carrie's version of the Bounce quilt. That's how I would make it if it was me.

I love your fabric choices! I love Thelma's version with the little 4 patch centers, but why not do both? You could choose a few nice focal centers to mix it up, plus I think it would go faster too! As for Country Inn...that's tough! I was thinking of going the same way you were, but the other version is so striking too! I think for the fabrics you have it may go better with your first choice :)

With Marmalade, I like the plain-star version of Bounce. Most of the prints are "busy" enough that I think there would be a bit too much moosh. The plain stars also really put the print itself in focus - with totally works with Marmalade.

With Evening Bloom, you can't go wrong, no matter which version you choose. Especially if you're using Fig Tree fabrics.

But then, anything you do will be wonderful because EVERYTHING you do is wonderful. Get the picture?

I'm leaning toward Evening Blooms, and I'd love to see your work with this quilt. I am thinking of this project or another Blackbird project for myself.

I loved watching Thelma work on her Evening Blooms, and she always inspires me.

Love your fabrics. I prefer Bounce with the solid centers the way Carrie made it. Can't wait to see what you decide.
