AYOS Prizes and Big Day Give Away!

Vintage Schnibbles winners are here...
but that's not all!
I am celebrating my 600th post today too!
First let's find out who won the AYOS Vintage Schnibbles
Parade of Gentle Art.
 (by random generated number).

Two prizes from Carrie, Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. and Schnibbles Queen extraordinaire!
Carrie is whipping up a little bit of special qiulty goodness, and you
know that nobody can do that better than her!

From my blog....

the prize goes to Sherri!

from A Quilting Life blog...

the prize goes to Lisa!

I will also give a prize of  a mystery layer cake
and the prize goes to...

Karen!

Sherri has a special prize also...
a specially picked layer cake...
and the prize goes to

Jackie!
Congratulations everyone!

If you would like to help me celebrate...please enter my
600th Post Big-Day-Give-Away!

I have a special friend joining me in the celebration...
Cheryl! She is from Meadow Mist...
no, she doesn't have a blog... she has an Etsy shop and
she is sponsoring my big-day give-away!
Yeah!
If you read my post last week, I shared a couple of new additions to my
sewing room...
a cute little pincushion and a thread catcher...
but if you missed that, here are a few other examples of Cheryl's creations...

 and... she designs patterns too!

Please let me introduce Cheryl to you,

I have been married for ten years and have a 6 year old son and a 3 year old daughter. I found the hobby of quilting as a way of having a creative outlet to counteract all of the cleaning, dishes, and laundry never ending cycle that we mothers seem to constantly do but never get finished with.

In my professional life, I am a chemical engineer that works at a specialty textile/chemical company writing patent applications 3 days a week. With my engineering background, I love precision and accuracy and this carries over to my sewing where I strive for exact cutting and piecing as well as a love for creating new quilt patterns as well as fun sewing accessories.

I will pick 3 winners!
The first will get a custom sewing accessories set
(thread catcher, pincushion, and needle book)
designed especially for them,

the second will get their choice of any pincushion in the store,

and the third will get digital versions of her two latest patterns
Charming and the Quilt in the Hat!

Just leave a comment on this post.
I will pick the winners on Friday 6/7.

I was originally going to post my "favorite post" from my blog...
but, I am going to ask you to give me a link to your favorite post
from YOUR blog!
That way I get to visit you!
Or you could become a follower.

But wait! That's not all!
Everyone will get a 15 percent discount at
Cheryl's shop through 6/15 when you enter the code
pinkpincushion!
It's a Win Win Big Day Give Away! Hurrah!

A favourite post, that's hard one. http://jersey-scrapper.blogspot.com/2012/12/2012-year-in-review.html The first time , but not the last that I'd done a year in review post - you forget sometimes what you've achieved in just 12 months.

600 POSTS!!! Sinta, that is amazing, Congratulations and I hope you have that many more, plus some for us to enjoy. Love your blog. Also, congrats to the AYOS giveaway winners this month. Now, I don't have a blog of my own, but "Jenny of Elefantz" set up a special blog for her DAISYDAYS BOM, with intentions of letting everyone participating do their very own Posts on it. Sadly, she found out there was limit on how many could post to one blog...but I was lucky enough to be one of those who signed up early enough to get a spot. So here is the link to my "Finally Started" post from today... http://daisydays-elefantz.blogspot.com.au/2013/06/finally-started.html ... and while your there, you really should hit the "Home" button and scroll down to Jenny's post which shows a full picture of her delightful design, that we have joined in on so that you can see it completed. It really is a lovely project and the blog is new, so I hope you'll check it out. Thanks so very much for your wonderful giveaway and a chance in it. Big Hugs...

First and foremost - congrats to the wonderful winners for their beautiful Gentle Arts. All the Schnibbles are wonderful - each in their own special way!

Sinta - BIG congrats to you on a very special blog post!! I REALLY liked how you have us looking through our own blog posts for a favorite. Here is my link:

http://sewcindy.blogspot.com/2011/01/little-quiltmini-quiltmug-rugyou-decide.html

And let me tell you why: I don't think many of us sew for "ourselves". Quilters are such warm, kind people that sew SO SO much for others that it's a treat to sew for oneself. The blog post I share is one that I sewed something for "ME". I "HEART" mugrugs/little quilts/mini quilts, I" HEART" using my Accuquilt GO, I "HEART" machine embroidery and I "HEART" hearts. But more than anything - I "HEART" home. Home is where my heart will always be.

The post is inclusive of all that I "HEART".

God bless you and I "HEART" that you always share so willingly on your blog.

Hugs.

600 posts is quite a milestone! Congratulations!

I thought I'd be able to pick out one of my own blog posts quickly to share here but instead went on a wonderful stroll back in time. Lots of family memories and furry friends no longer with us. And tons of quilts. I give away so many that I had forgotten about a few. Fun stuff!! Thank you for the motivation....

And I'm totally excited to see my name as a prize winner. You are so generous!

Cheers to many more posts Sinta! I enjoy reading each and every one.
