Home Again and Happy Home

Paper Route (pattern is called Summerville) is already home from the LAQ!
I love how it turned out!
I guess I need to get a binding ready!

Last week my focus was on this quilt...

But mid-week the hubby was feeling better so we took a few days to get away
and go see #1 son.
It was a nice visit... but just not long enough!

I am always a mess leaving Chico.
My other sons have lived there in the past also...
and it doesn't matter...
I am always traumatized to leave
(hopefully non of them have been witness to this...
it's just my mental state driving back home)

So don't tell them! It will be our secret!

Saturday I was back in the sewing room...
playing with the blocks I had started.

 And before I knew it...

it was finished!

Vintage by Cluck Cluck Sew was such a fun pattern... and so darn quick too!

The fabric group is by Sweet Caroline for Art Gallery Fabrics.
It's called Happy Home!

So, now, I think I will make a new summer purse.
I have been so reluctant to use the Noodlehead pattern I bought
a few years ago... I really liked the one the Mary on Lake Pulaski made

so, now I'm just going to do it!
The big problem is deciding on my fabrics!
I have pulled out about a half dozen color combos...
so,
if
it
goes
well

I will just have to make all of them!
ha!

They do look good in a group don't they?
