I wanted to show you photos of the Bridal Shower for Jillian.
I know I have every one's backsides here in the first picture but
what I wanted to really take a picture of was the table!
It was set for 22 people and there was a variety of different
china place settings.
The women were really nice. Mostly friends of Jill's mom and
people she has worked with/teaching.
The sunglasses game was a lot of fun. It was a fund raiser for the honeymoon. Everyone put glasses on the table that they brought, put them on the table, put money in a jar and drew a number. In between the bride opened her gifts, numbers would be called to go pick a pair of glasses! The flamingos were popular!
Obviously, by the picture above... everyone was having a good time!
It dawned on me yesterday
that it was the 30 year anniversary of Mount St. Helen's in Washington erupted.
Coincidentally, it was the same day that I came to visit Yosemite.
Although I only came for a day visit, I never left.
I made this my home for 30 years now! *#) 30 YEARS!

The Quilt Shoppe is having another Bingo Game!
I missed it last time... and I was sorry that I did. So this year, I'm on it!
It looks like it's going to be just as much fun... and don't we need some fun?
I love to play games anyway... so that will be fun in itself but
the Quilt Shoppe has prizes too! So that makes it even better! It's not to late to join in...
go over to the Quilt Shoppe and pick out your words and play along!

Sinta, that shower looked like so much fun! I think the sunglasses "honeymoon fund raiser" game was ingenious....who thought that up? Jillian is a doll and she is crazy about you....I know because she told me! :o)
I have been trying to decide if I was going to do the Bingo thing, and I think I'll take the plunge. It looks like fun!
Have a great evening.
XOXO,
Cyndi
What a great idea for a bridal shower.
Do you really live in Yosemite? What a wonderfull back yard for your boys that must have been. Its one of my most favourite places to visit when we come to the states. l have been there 3 times and never tire of it.
Linda.
Sinta,
Thanks for posting about our Spring Fever Bingo!
Everyone looks like they had a great time at the shower.
I can't believe I've lived in California all my life and have never been to Yosemite. Will have to put that on my list of things to do this summer.
Hi Sinta...I was born and raised in the Bay Area, CA. Many of my childhood vacations were spent in Yosemite. Seeing that photo instantly brings back the memories. Fun shower bunch!!
What a fun shower, I just love all the glasses!
