This is my Fallville quilt that I started
the first week in October!
Cupcake n Daisies and I decided to have a sew along together...
of course she finished first... Thelma is pretty speedy!
But I wanted to do a my borders a little bit
different that the pattern and it took me
extra time to think it through.
In the end I'm happy with the way it turned out
and as a bonus....
it was made with fabric from my stash!
Last fall I made Vintage by Thimble Blossoms.
I used October Skies fabrics... so I was happy to use up
my scraps and now I will get them both quilted for next year!
Last weekend I worked on a few of my
Beees Knees Sewing Bee blocks that I needed to get
caught up on.
I love the fabrics in these Bear Paw blocks!
And I also made a couple of fun Spool blocks
with a low volume background!
I still have fall quilting to do work on before I get started on this
new kit by Fig Tree & Co.
... but it's nice to open the package and fondle the fabrics!
My project for this weekend is Lucy!
I haven't made one yet
but now have
a great assortment of orange, black and grey
and I think I can get it done while it's still fall
but
not
before
Halloween!
That's okay with me because
the colors of Autumn
come and go too quickly...
I just want to enjoy it as much as I can.
Enjoy your weekend,
I'm glad you stopped by!

Have a wonderful sewing weekend here in Germany it's extra long due to holidays on Tuesday and Wednesday (and a free day on Monday) I have a two days work week:-)
Beautiful quilts, I love the soft colors, perfect for fall.
Just love "Fallville" and your borders really are nice. It is great when a project comes together and comes out beautiful as yours! "Lucy" was a fun top to make and you will love how nicely the pattern comes together....I love mine and also think Thelma is making another....enjoy!
You have been really busy! I love your version of Fallville. I didn't know there was a pattern available - or did you just modify Summerville? It's always a great feeling when you can just use fabrics from your stash.
Beautiful quilts........ Your working on some lovely new quilts....enjoy fall.....
I love your version of Fallville. I love the Swoon block in the center.❣️
What great projects! Love each and every one of them!
So many lovely quilts! The Fallville one stitched up beautifully in that color pallet...and, of course, I like the spool blocks...as well as the Fig Tree All Wrapped Up! You are showing us so much inspiration to start our Sundays! :-)
The Fallvilles are really pretty and I LOVE those spool blocks.
I love your Fallville quilt. As always you are working on fun projects and it is always great to catch up with what you are working on. I am trying so hard to finish some things up before starting anything new. I have the fabrics for the Fig Tree quilt you are planning to start. I would love to start cutting in to the fabric.
Love your quilts! Fallville is gorgeous, and the vintage is stunning as well!
