With sprinkles on top!
So much to see and drool over here today in the Summer Day parade!
But first let me tell you some news... just in case you didn't already know.
Miss Rosie's Quilt Company has opened up her own store on-line.
Did you know there are PDF's of the Schnibbles patterns now???
I don't know about you... but I think this is terrific news! No more waiting or wondering
or hunting for her patterns... it's a quick little click away!
And even more fun is a post coming over at Martingale Publishing's blog today about Carrie!
Fun things are going on for Carrie, so you might want to hop over and check it out.
But of course you want to see the parade here today and then go see the second half over
at Sherri's A Quilting Life blog.
I can't even count how many quilts we have this time!
(the numbers keep increasing, so if I have missed your entry in the kayos please let me know)
And just in case you are wondering what the next Schnibble will be...
Here is what we have planned as the project for May!
This is Doc!
I made mine with Vintage Modern.
I loved making this pattern... I was excited with each block; it really was like magic!
Here is what you will need to get started:
Fabric requirements:
2 charm packs
1 1/4 yards background
This is bigger than any of the other Schnibbles I have done. It measures 42" sq.
and if you wanted to add a border you would really have a nice size wall hanging or table topper.
So now grab a cupcake and let the parade begin...
Oh so yummy and oh so sweet... here is Kim's quilt
and to see more of the quilting you can check out her blog
Kims Big Quilting Adventure
The colors are so fun and I love the border color too!
Here is a beautiful Summer Day in shades of blue.
This one was made by Edith at Red Door Quilting/Little Red Hen.
So soft and sweet, isn't it?
And from A Peach in Stitching, Kim W. made her SD to be a baby blanket for a
newly arrived little boy. I know he will love the delicious colors!
.
Here is one that is cute as can be by Kay.
Kay's SD quilt made with Calif. Girl... in her case though it's Washington Girl!
Kay's blog is Quilt Studio Happenings, she always has inspiring work.
Leah at Quilted Delights made a sweet version with pink sashing on the geese and a
scrappy border that was inspired by Sharon's quilt!
And I can see why she was inspired... this one is the wonderful version made by Sharon...
aka Vroomans Quilts! She used a jr of Bliss to create her quilt! Love it!
Here is Summer Day and Strawberry Fields... a perfect combination
for a fresh and happy quilt! This was made by Kay M. and she is trying to decide
on adding a border... when she sees these other versions... it might help her make up her mind!
TAdaaaaa!
Here is a wonderful version of SD made by Polly at Aunt Polly's Porch blog.
She was up late finishing her quilt and was challenged by the evening light taking the
photo but you can see that it is beautiful and see more photos on her blog too!
Rene at Quilting Nona blog made her version with rich colors and a background that gives it
a great contrast. This was her first attempt at flying geese... and it turned out beautifully.
Here is a beautiful Summer Day
and this was made by Karen from Quilting Losing and Tea blog.
She burned the midnight oil to get this one in the parade and it is
so sweet with the Strawberry Fields fabric line!
This one is Summer Day made with California Girl fabric!
This was created by Trelly in Spain!
This Summer Day was made by Susan
and just a little FYI her friend Laural
got her little quilt on the cover of
Primitive Quilt magazine! You might want to go
take a peak and tell her congratulations!
That is so exciting!
This is another Summer Day made with Fig Tree's Calif. Girl.
Patti also used the Fit to be Geese ruler.. that we love!
This Summer Day has been renamed Pezzy Summer
(how cute) by Meredith F. No blog but you can see more on her Flikr page.
This is a cheerful version in summer colors...
a perfect summer quilt... made by Terrie!
And just what you would expect a perfect
and warm colorway from Mary at Quilt Hollow!
Her quilting is beautiful!
Here is a Summer Day with a sweet little twist...
made by Satu at Quilt Tales blog!
This version of Summer Day was created by Sandy F. She used a jelly roll
from her stash... of Urban Indigo by Fig Tree. Her version is a little larger
so that she used all of her fabric in it! Good job! I love it when a pattern allows you
to use a charm pack ... or a jelly roll!
Here we have a spring looking version of Summer Day! This one was made by Sandie at
!
Just a simple little change but a dramatic difference! This
version of SD was from the mind of Thelma at Cupcakes n Daisies.
This is a sweet little version of SD that is renamed "June".
It is just beautiful and perfect here on the porch! This
was created by Patty from NC Weekend Quilter blog!
I love this version... the colors are perfect for me!
It was made by Sandra and she wanted to share
her Schnibbles from a couple months ago that she quilted...
This one is like tulips in the garden! Paulette
made this version in bright and happy colors!
This one is so cute I can't stand it!!!
Made by Mary at Gwendie Quilts blog with Sweetwater Reunion fabrics.
and here is another wonderful quilt...
This one was made by Michele at Island Life Quilts.
I knew I was going to misplace somebody's... sorry Michele!
Her's is made with Hello Luscious by Basic Grey. I love the playful fabrics.
Another one that is just beyond cute!
That is my parade of Schnibbles for this month.
Please check out Sherri's blog with me and I will see you tomorrow for the prizes!

The quilts I could see are wonderful but a lot of the pictures don't come through. Do you know if there's anything I can do? If not, I'll try to find the blogs.
As for the May quilt, I tried making a Card Trick block once. Let's just say I renamed mine 'Misdeal'. Hopefully, I'll do better this time!
Yep, what Mary said about the photos. I tried refreshing the post but they're still not appearing. I've always wanted to make a card trick quilt--now's my chance! Thanks!
I could see a handful of the beautiful quilts but most are not showing.
Doc will be fun - hopefully I'll have my act together this month.
:-)
Same thing with me, I can't see very many of the photos. I hope lots of people stop by my friend Laural's blog, especially since she has a giveaway going on.

I know the give a way is all over, but I had to drop in and just say how much I am enjoying the Schnibbles parades. :o) Also, I received a couple of Schnibble patterns for my birthday and am not allowed to open them until tomorrow. :o) My actual bday. I can not wait to get started!
