I Also Wait to the Last Minute for Christmas Shopping

I have been trying to think of some projects that I will instruct  at my retreat this fall.
We always have a great time at the retreat and although everyone brings projects to
work on... I have a couple of quicker type projects for everyone to do...
along with a Mystery Quilt.

These are some top contenders.
A mini iron holder.

Cathedral Windows pillow.

Maybe this project or a hexagon pincushion.
Another possibility is
a Jelly Roll Race Quilt like seen on You Tube.

But I could really like to know what you think. Do you have some suggestions
that I might like?
I only have about a day and a half to make my final decision!

THE PILLOW!! Most definitely! Who wants to make a cathedral windows quilt? Not me! But a pillow, YES! I love it!

I like all of the above. Can you do them all????? You don't need sleep, do you?

I just love the pillow and would like to learn to make it myself. I always think pillows are a lovely gift.

I would say definitely to the iron caddy and the pincushion set, maybe to the pillow, and probably not to the jelly roll quilt (if that is the one where the strips are just sewn together...).

Voting pillow here in the hollow.

Love the pillow. I have the colored fabric and am always looking for something less busy to do with it. That looks nice. Now to find a tutorial. I've seen one at some point.

Wow~ can I come to your retreat? I would like to make them all! :-) At the autumn retreat I went to last year, everyone was looking for quick and cute projects. Table mats, your pillow, pincushions, small zip bags etc, so I think you have the right ideas! :-)

Before reading any of the comments I was voting for the pillow. That is the one I would want to learn how to make.

The pillow is a definite winner.

I have to vote for something other than the pillow - I'm not a fan. Sorry. :-(

The jelly roll race is awesome! 7 of us did it at the last retreat and it was great to see the variety from all the different fabrics. Plus, it's so easy to shop for, although we added a border(s)to ours. Anything you teach would be great though!
