BOM Rehab results:
It was a very nice weekend...
one of the few left of Summer.
There were a few of us in Rehab this weekend....
first up is Sandie...
is making the Generals Wife's block of the month project.
I love these blocks.
Next in the rehab is Susan
she worked on a couple of her BOM projects... the 2009 FQS BOM
and also
her Thimbleberries block of the month! Don't you love this idea for the
border? I need to remember it! You can see more at her blog: A
Next up in the rehab is Jill at Darling Jill Quilts blog...
Here is a little photo of what she has been doing...
but here you can see all of her progress
on her fun projects!!!
I love seeing those witch's boots!
Thelma at Cupcake n Daisies added another block to her
collection too! Doesn't it make you want to try a tonal quilt?
One block wasn't enough...

As for me...
I decided to start working on my Fat Quarter Shop DM 2012 blocks.
I wanted to wait a little bit so I would have more fabric from the blocks to work with.
My plan was to be very careful and try to cut out two of each block...
I was able to do it! I did cut wrong on one block... but fortunately I had some
older Thimble Blossoms fabric that I could throw in and it still looked good.
.On another note...
I was playing with photos and thought I would try out a new header...
but when I add the photo it is super small (no matter what).
Have you tried to do this or do you have any helpful hints?

Hi Sinta!
I have 2 12.5 inch blocks and some other blocks completed from the Just Takes 2 quilt!
I was waiting for the post with the Mr Linky tool to link up!

Oh Sinta, I look at everyone's progress every week and think I need to hop into this. Is it too late? I'm not sure when it ends, or are you going to continue with it? I have four or five BOM's that I need to get busy on. Two of them are ready for borders, that's all they need, borders, LOL. the others are in various stages of progress, except my 2009 FQS Designer Mystery Quilt and I only have one of those blocks done. I was a new quilter then and just overwhelmed myself with too many, joining all of them I could afford. Then my own projects got pushed to the side and finally I said, ENOUGH...and put the BOMS away. But I'm ready to try once a week on some of them, what say you? Is it almost over? Big Hugs...
I was not able to join in with blocks in Rehab this week, to many other distractions. I came to see the progress others are making and be inspired.
Lots of great progress and beautiful blocks.
I continue to be impressed by those who have stayed in rehab over the summer. Seeing Susan and Jill's work on the 2009 FQS DM makes me think maybe I'll work on that one too. I loved the 2008 FQS DM but did not initially feel that way about the 2009 BOM.
Thanks to Jill for showing her design wall. That is a very amusing collection of blocks.
I'm glad everyone is enjoying my design walk as much add I am. Lol
Love the blocks and inspiration to keep going! Your bright blocks are so pretty!
lovely progress this week. am also trying to cut 2 blocks from my fabric. it's almost possible.
Everybody is having fun with their BOMs. One of these days I will find the time. I love your 2012 BOM blocks. I need to get started on mine.
