Back in business!
I can show my progress on Summer Wind today.
I can't even type the words without hearing Frankie singing
the song in my head:
The summer wind, came blowin in - from across the sea
It lingered there, so warm and fair - to walk with me
All summer long, we sang a song - and strolled on golden sand
Two sweethearts, and the summer wind
Now it's the corner block dilemma.
I think I need to bring out the green and yellow a little bit more.
Or maybe it needs some of the center star raspberry color?
That row inside from the green is pretty low volume but it might
be a sacrifice for the greater good.

All summer long, we sang a song - and strolled on golden sand
Two sweethearts, and the summer wind
Like painted kites, those days and nights - went flyin by
The world was new, beneath a blue - umbrella sky
Then softer than, a piper man - one day it called to you
And I lost you, to the summer wind
The world was new, beneath a blue - umbrella sky
Then softer than, a piper man - one day it called to you
And I lost you, to the summer wind
The autumn wind, and the winter wind - have come and gone
And still the days, those lonely days - go on and on
And guess who sighs his lullabies - through nights that never end
My fickle friend, the summer wind

Wow Sinta, it really is so pretty. I love the colors.
Oh that is going to be such a beautiful quilt!! I love it! I think I need some of your sewing mojo! Mine has been flagging~ esp after doing all the cutting for Clover. :-o
Oh, Sinta, that's so pretty.
I miss having a sew along buddy! Have fun.
Love the quilt, I would do stars to complete the trip around the quilt, and then do the next border using the greens all the way around ass well. Reason why is because you already have at least 3 rows that go all the way around so it would stick with the continuity and not take away from the center star.
That's gorgeous!
It's looking great!
I absolutely love this quilt!
Very beautiful, fabrics & top.
It's raining outside, and it's still dark here. Looking at this quilt is so encouraging! Love what you and Thelma are doing.

Nice job and love the difference in your top also. Wow, both yours and Thelma's has a different feel to them. Love them both and good luck with your finish!
