Got It Covered!

Here is my mini Stems quilt for our next AYOS project!
I caved in and used my October Skies fabric that I had been
hoarding. I can't wait to have it quilted.
Now, I want to make a large Stems quilt.
I think these can be addicting!

So, let me pick our winners for the AYOS Harvey Parade.

Carrie is giving two special surprise-prizes,
one for each of our blogs...
and
the first randomly chosen winner is:

Pam... at Stitching Between the Lines blog from my parade.

Judith is the winner from Sherri's parade!

I also have a charm pack and a Schnibbles pattern to give one person from each blog...

Linda and Jackie are the winners that will receive the charm pack/pattern combo.

Thank you all for taking on the Harvey project! It was a big quilt and I love
what you all did with the pattern. I love the mini versions and the conversions
that were made... you guys are so creative!

Congratulations to the winners!

as for me...

I had a very nice and relaxing weekend!
It was the first one in a month or more!
I got to stay in my pj's most of the day on Saturday...
and  even better... it rained!
I worked on miscellaneous projects that were laying around
in my sewing room and I even got out some binding that needed to be done.
I had the quilts quilted in the summer... but it was just too hot to even think
about binding them!

I got caught up on my Bees Knees Quilting Group projects.
I had two that have been needing my attention.

This one is for Shari...
her theme was a masculine Autumn Leaves block.

and this one is for Calli...

her theme was a free style, anything outdoors and camping
kind of feel, so I made up this...

Also, November is my month for our group so I cut out
and kitted up blocks for everyone in my group.
I even made two  of my own for my quilt to get a head start.

It's a free pattern from Little Miss Shabby
promoting her Playful Petals book.
*which I love!

I had decided to join in with the Night Sky quilt along that
was starting up. So I grabbed my stack of
American Jane fabrics and started to cut into them.

There are 7 rows that will be done in 7 weeks.
It should be fun.
This morning I started sewing row #1.

I like the way they are turning out. I am keeping my fingers crossed though...
it is a busy/scrappy pattern and American Jane fabrics are the same...
so we'll see how it turns out!

I even managed to make a Bunny Hill ornament along with a friend on
Thursday evening. They were a lot of fun to make!
But, can you believe it.... I didn't play any Christmas music!
That is just wrong.

Congrats to the winners!
I've made some Night Sky blocks, too, but I've started with the big ones so I can play with the fabrics and colors for the small ones a bit more.

I love the block with the trailer.... I have that little snowman in a mitten project. I should make mine too.

I just got my Twigs pattern. I'll get to it this week, probably Thursday or Friday.
