Here is my Cotton Candy block... 

in production!

What I have been enjoying about this 

quilt along... is that you can make

a few simple units and they

turn into fun and interesting blocks!

And here it is with the units put together!

Next... or actually the first block

for this week was 

the Cookies and Cream block...

I love trying out these unique blocks...

and they go together pretty fast too!

I know I am going to be making 

some of these blocks into complete

quilts... I just have to decide which ones!

Another Perfect 10 Tuesday!

This week just zipped by!

Luckily I was able to whip up the two Perfect 10 Blocks

for this week in no time at all!

in... 

the blocks are super fast and easy to make.

This 10" ruler is so ... well, perfect. 

I buy a lot of pre-cut fabrics... especially, Layer Cakes...

so I can see this guy being very useful!

I took a close up so you could see the little 

black and white dash lines. 

I especially love the way it grips!

This Perfect 10 Ruler is now 

in my "selected" collection 

of favorites!

 The item on the Fat Quarter Shop website.

It's made by Creative Grids... and we all know

their rulers are great!

This block is the Coffee Block.

I actually made a couple of these because they are 

so simple and cute.

This block is called Cookie Dough...

it's a huge 24" block.

Now that I am looking at it...

I am going to go back and change the placement of the top two units.

Don't you think they will look better reversed?

This sampler is going to be so fun!

But the best thing about this Perfect 10 Quilt Book

is that each one of the blocks has directions for making 

it into a quilt and in different sizes as well!

Perfect 10 Tuesday

It's Perfect 10 Tuesday people!

I get to sew along again this week

with the Fat Quarter Shop!

I am having serious fun with the 

Perfect 10 Sew Along blocks!

They are super fast and easy!

This one is the Coconut Block... 

which starts out like a churn dash block...

but then a fun little twist, and wha-la, you 

have a whole new block!

This little cutie pie is my youngest 

grand little! I am just adding her in new

"in the pumpkin patch" photo in

for fun!

You might already know this about me... but I 

am not a gadget kind of gal.

However... I am in love with my new ruler...

and I can't believe I have lived without this...

why didn't anyone make a Perfect 10 ruler before?!?

If you buy layer cakes... you will love it! 

I am not kidding. It's my new favorite ruler!

This is the Buttered Pecan block... see how easy it is?
