Today is the A Quilting Life blog book tour.
I am excited to be a part of Sherri's book debut!
Her book has several fun projects... they are for beginner or
intermediate quilters.
They are projects that can be whipped up pretty quickly...
perfect for a gift. I love the table runners and pillow patterns!

My friend Donna, who is the owner of my LQS
made up one of the quilts in Sherri's book out of Glamping
fabrics... for a summer time picnic quilt!
I wanted to share that with you today...
it's Pinwheel Picnic!
Sherri asked us to share a little something about ourselves on the book tour that
had to do with a quilting life. Of course!
So I wanted to share my quiche recipe with you!
My family and friends always request this for special get togethers.
I love quick because it's good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner...
indoors or outdoors! I haven't given this secret recipe out until now!
for 2 Quiche pies:
You can make the crust or buy deep dish pie crust like
I sometimes do.

Another thing, that I feel adds to my Quilting Life/home life is that I love cloth napkins.
I have a pet peeve about paper napkins... you will almost never find them at my house.
I don't really need formal napkins... but I do love cloth napkins for the table
and for picnics too!
Don't get me wrong... I'm really not a formal kind of person;
we have had plenty of good napkin fights at the end of a meal!
It helps that we have no less than 8 at our family gatherings.
It helps that we have no less than 8 at our family gatherings.
Paper napkins could never work for that!
Picnics are also a good time to use cloth napkins too...
they don't blow away!
A cute napkin tutorial is from Alidiza blog.
These would look so cute made to match a table runner from Sherri's book.
Please leave a comment and tell me, do you use paper or cloth?

Ah yes, I love cloth napkins as well, Sinta. It sounds a bit crazy but I think Cloth Napkins just make a table setting "finished". Do I keep paper napkins too? Yes, I do for those quickie snacks for the grandkids....or even occasionally wiping off drool from the doggies' mouths. LOL
Sherri's book looks amazing. She surely is a talent that I admire and am happy to follow via her blog.
Hugs.
Mmmmm, quiche. I've not made one in a while and your recipe sounds really yummy. Thanks so much for sharing it.
Thanks for sharing the recipe. The book looks amazing. lia.vandenbrand@live.nl
I love 'Pinwheel Picnic' - such great colours too!
I use paper, but I have plans to whittle down some of my stash and make a whole pile of cloth napkins. A friend of mine used up all of her home-spun plaids that way and I think it's a great idea!
thanks for the recipe. Good food has to be part of a quilting life! The pinwheel quilt is very cute.
Cute, cute, cute! I LOVE the border fabric... way too summery! And quiche... yummo! I made four just the other night and love having a couple in the freezer. Perfect for a picnic!
I use paper napkins! I do buy the lovely, larger printed ones from TJMaxx or Tuesday Morning for special occaisions though.
Do you iron all those napkins? They are pretty!
I use paper napkins.
I always have a stack of nice paper napkins in a holder. We use cloth for special occasion dinners. Cloth ones for picnics sounds like a good idea.
Looks like a fun book!
I use cloth napkins as often as possible. Most of mine are perma press cottons so not a problem to wash and give a quick press. It's so much more GREEN :)
I use both. Cloth if I set a table - paper if we eat casually on the run at the breakfast bar. I'd love to win Sherri's book!
Looks like a great book!! Thank you for the wonderful recipe, sounds good! Thank you for this chance to win.
Have a super great sewing and stitching day!
The pinwheel picnic quilt is so cute, love the border print! Wouldn't matching napkins to the quilt make for a great 'gourmet' picnic!! Thanks for the chance to win The Quilting Life book.
Paper at the moment, but we are transitioning to cloth as soon as I finish making them.
I use paper most days but changing to cloth does sound like a great idea!
I love a good quiche. The bakery near our home is owned by a French lady who makes the most amazing quiches and tarts.
I love doing Pic nic with my family and they would love this one!, I will try to make your recipe also...
Thanks for sharing.
I wanted to buy her book time ago, and I wrote Sherry because in her website I was not able to buy from Spain...so ebook will be lovely idea.
Kisses from Valencia.
We have been using cloth napkins as often as possible. At my house, they need to be larger than usual.
LOL But we do have a mixture. Some of them I made over 20 years ago.
Thanks for the quiche recipe! I make quiche regularly around here---and I always make enough to have leftovers for quick breakfasts! We use cloth napkins and have for about 15 years. I love them but really need to make some fresh ones. I'd love to win a copy of Sherri's book--it looks wonderful!
We only use cloth napkins for fancy meals. I never thought to make them for everyday use.
I only use the cloth ones on holidays. Mostly by myself so paper will do.
I would love to win a copy of this book! Looks great (and I have quite a collection of homemade cloth napkins, too :) )
Thanks so much,
Robin
welchrobin@Hotmail.com
I love those napkins! I have to admit we use paper towels normally but have cloth for holidays! Would like some like yours for everyday, put it on my long to do list! The book looks to be very interesting would love to win a copy! Thanks
Can't wait to make your quiche, sounds scrumptous! I love quiche anyway! Sherri's book looks adorable and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. As for napkins, I use paper. I have thought recently about switching to cloth, since it is just the two of us now, but I can't seem to bring myself to use the vintage ones I have. Maybe I'll make some! Thanks!
I like the idea of cloth napkins and all the wonderful fabric I could make them in but alas, we use paper napkins. Keeping up with the napkin laundry would do me in I guess. :S I'd love to win the book!
HI! WE USE PAPER MOST OF THE TIME; ON HOLIDAYS WE SOMETIMES USE CLOTH.IT SEEMS SPECIAL! THANKS FOR YOUR BLOG+GIVEAWAY BOOK TOO!
msstitcher1948@yahoo.com
I love using cloth napkins! You can have one in every shade and for every occasion!
I grew up with a very formal place setting where we ALWAYS used cloth, but once I had a family, we now use paper. Love a copy of Sherri's book!
I prefer cloth; if we sit at the dining table,it's cloth - if we eat at the breakfast bar, I would like to say paper, but often it is a bit of paper towel. :-\
I have a habit of not being able to keep up with laundry so its paper for us. I would have to have way too many cloth napkins!
I always use cloth napkins, i'm trying to save the world by not using paper napkins, or plastic grocery bags etc.
Love the book!
We always use cloth, we're pretty big on doing our part to make the planet happier in our family. Love your napkins. Gonna give those a try.
We use nothing but cloth. There is a basket on the counter and it is full. I don't keep a paper napkin in the house, haven't for 20 years.
Thank you for the quiche recipe, sounds delicious!
Always cloth. Not because I'm "green" but because I love linens - they are another way of collecting fabric.
We used paper growing up, but I'm really wanting some nice cloth napkins. Problem is, my kids would wipe up all kinds of messes with them (and probably stain them!). Sigh. Someday. For now, paper will have to do. Or brown cloth ones!
Going to try your recipe sounds yummy.. I use both cloth and paper napkins...I follow Sherri and also you both blogs are great..Thanks for the chance to win...
Cloth; it's better for the environment too. Fat quarters make nice napkins.
I mostly use paper napkins, but I have some cloth napkins I pull out for special occasions. Thanks for the chance the book.
Thank you for sharing your recipe! We are paper towel people in my house, I have a hard time with sponges and towels, I'm a bit of a germaphobe.
I never buy paper napkins! I have a ton of cloth napkins that we use most often....but I must also confess we use a ton of paper towels too. Thanks for the giveaway....looks like a great book.
We use cloth napkins. However, most of my boys don't seem to get the concept of napkins even though they have been exposed to them since childhood - they are now all 'adults'. At least that's what they tell me.
I met Sherri in person at Portland, it was so delightful. I would love to win her book. I am a slacker. I use paper napkins. No question the cloth are nicer, more presentable, and set a better mood. I can barely get my dishes done and I would rather quilt than fuss! Thanks for the giveaway!
Sadly I use paper...but would prefer to use cloth. Maybe I should print out that tutorial and make some for summer!
I use a combination of cloth and papertowels and my son uses the neck or hem of his shirt!!! ;) Thanks for a chance to win Sherry's wonderful book!
Thank you for the chance to win! We generally use cloth, unless it is something insanely greasy or that stains, and then we use paper towels.
I would use cloth if I had guests over, but generally it is just me, but now that you mention it - HEY I deserve to use a cloth napkin! I bought a bit of Glamping and it is on my summer "to do list". Thanks for the recipe and the chance to win Sherri's book.
I only use cloth napkins when we have company... which isn't very often! All kinds of goodies on your post today! I LOVE the quilt! I have a weakness for pinwheels! And thanks for the recipe. I am 50 years old, and I've never made quiche! I need to!
paper , i am lazy. thanks for the chance
Cloth as often as possible. Thanks for this opportunity. Wendy
I use paper. I like the idea of cloth napkins, but not sure, especially if they are white, how to keep them so, without using bleach and other chemicals I don't like to use.
Paper most of the time. I am the mother of a son, who if I'm not watching will always use his sleeve and give me back a clean napkin. I don't get it either, he'll say I didn't need it but if I look at his sleeve he'll just shrug. Sometimes you just have to laugh, or you'll go crazy. ;-> Toni Anne

I use paper but OH how I love cloth. I may try making some now. Yours look so pretty. Thanks for a chance to win.
Your Pinwheel Picnic quilt is darling...I am going to need this book! I love cloth napkins...and I use them all the time. I also have to have glass cups when I drink coffee...funny how we are about things. I am going to try your recipe...have a great day and thanks for the chance to win the book!!!!!
We use paper every day - cloth on holidays and special occasions. With 13 grandchildren, practicality is paramount. Sherri's book looks amazing. Fingers crossed.
I've been using cloth for the last 5 years or so... We love them!
I use paper for everyday, but I love pretty cloth napkins for "special,"
I always use paper, but the cloth ones are so cute.
Thanks for sharing the recipe. Sherri's book looks really good. I have to say we use paper napkins.
I started making cloth napkins to go with every tablecloth/table topper and we are using them all the time now.
I prefer cloth, although not everyone in my family agrees! Thanks for the recipe and the peak at the cute quilt. It just looks like summer fun and happy days!
I use paper napkins. It does drive me crazy when people do not have any napkins; I cannot eat without one!
The book looks great. Thanks for the chance to win. I use both paper and fabric.sometimes convenience wins.
I use paper napkins but love the fabric one to use at restaurants.
paper here. I think if we used cloth napkins, they would never see the light of day from the laundry room. I have Sherri's book in my Amazon wishlist.
I use both paper and cloth napkins. This past weekend I was at a quilting retreat with 5 other ladies and we used paper napkins because that was what was available. However, at home I always use cloth. It seems more environmentally friendly to use cloth napkins rather than paper on a daily basis. Thanks for the quiche recipe; it sounds delicious. And the "glamping" quilt is adorable. Sherri's book is wonderful; I hope a win a copy!
We use both, but mostly paper. I do buy the expensive kind! Thanks!
We use paper napkins At occasions I may even buy fancy paper ones.LOL
On a daily basis, we use paper. Holidays and special celebrations call for cloth. The book sounds amazing!
We use paper, I don't like to wash, dry, fold, put away😉
It's paper all the way with our family - usually from the local fast food restaurant ;)
I use both. I like the cloth napkins, nice tutorial!
I use both, but my favorite are the cloth ones. I just saw the tutorial and think I will be making a whole lot more of them, it so easy to make.
I use mostly paper, but sometimes when I'm feeling particularly civilized, I pull out some fabric ones. Thanks!
For my everyday meals, I use paper napkins. For holidays I set a formal table and always use cloth napkins. Thank you for the recipe and the chance at the giveaway!
Thanks for sharing the recipe. My family does paper napkins, with a 3 and 6 year old I would need to do too much laundry if we used cloth :)
I usually use paper, but am trying to use more cloth napkins. Love the tutorial!! Quiche sounds yummy! Thanks!
I use both cloth and paper, but like you I prefer cloth. There are just some foods that cannot hold up to paper wiping, must have cloth. Thanks for a chance to win.
I love "collecting" vintage linen napkins, but then buy paper ones (because I'm lazy about washing and ironing the cloth ones.) Sherri's book looks wonderful, thanks for the chance.
We use paper napkins as we had 5 children & that would have been alot of napkins to wash every day. My youngest son couldn't stand the feel of paper napkins or paper towels, so he had his own cloth napkins. Of course you never want to let your siblings know there is something you don't like, because they would torment him by chasing him with paper napkins or covering him with them while he slept. Amazingly he turned out to be a normal young man. Your quiche recipe sounds wonderful. I will have to give it a try. Can't wait to get my own copy of Sherri's book.
Oh my gosh I love the camping quilt. Sew cute. I usually use paper towels but love the idea of fabric, thanks for sharing the tutorial and for the chance to win.
I tend to use paper napkins. Your recipe looks yummy!
I use cloth napkins! I remember how I stayed with a family for a year one time, and she used wash cloths!
missysaprons@gmail.com
We tend to use paper napkins for everyday, though it makes me feel guilty. Thanks for the recipe!
I really like cloth napkins and use regularly but have to say that sometimes with my little grandkids, I will put out the paper ones....way to mess for cloth ones!
Both. I love cloth, but I always want them nice and crisp. Ironing napkins isn't always a priority when there are quilts to make.
Sinta, thanks for the quiche recipe! The pinwheel picnic quilt is really a great pattern, especially with Glamping.
We use paper napkins - cheap ones. I read on another gal's blog that she uses cloth towels instead of paper towels. I followed the link to where she bought them, and I thought "I can do that!" So now you have me thinking about it again. Thanks for the tutorial link!
We usually use paper napkins, but I have been toying with the idea of making myself some unpaper towels. Thanks for the chance to win!
We used to use paper but my sister-in-law always made her own fabric ones. She gave me the napkin bug so now we just use fabric. I have different fabric colors and different sizes also.
I like paper (they can be composted), but hubby prefers cloth. He is rough on them though, so I buy fingertip towels that can hold up to many trips through the washer and dryer.
We seem to use paper.....and a lot of them! Great info on the book, would love to win it!
Great recipe! I love a beautifully pressed linen napkin, but for everyday paper is okay....but I can't do the cheap "scratchy" ones....I tend to buy good quality paper ones on sale and stockpile them!
I use paper, but I'm itching to make some of those adorable cloth napkins after seeing that tutorial.
We use dishcloths for napkins in our house! Thanks for the giveaway.
I can't wait to try your recipe. Thank you for sharing it.
I use both, but like you, prefer cloth napkins. AND a tablecloth - especially because I'm the only female in my house of 3 guys and me. I need all the feminine I can get away with. :)
I love cloth too. One year we had a big backyard BBQ and I bought a bunch of bandana's to use for napkins~everyone loved it! Thanks for the chance!
I use mostly paper napkins. I have some lovely fabric ones, but I don't want them to get messy. Kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
we use paper! thanks for the chance to win
I'm a paper napkin gal. I love the look of cloth napkins but prefer the convenience of paper.
Sherri's book looks wonderful.
Love the quilt! Perfect for a picnic🍉. I love cloth napkins and always have plenty on hand...just toss in the wash! I will have to try your recipe.
We use paper napkins, but I would lOVE to use cloth. Better for the environment, too, I guess. And just plain prettier and more fun.
The Picnic quilt made out of Glamping is adorable. I love it!
We use a combination of cloth or paper - depends on the occasion. Sometimes paper is easier but I do prefer cloth.
We use paper towels, we don't even try to do napkins. Inevitably the boys will have a giant spill during the meal.
Paper napkins in my house!
I use both. I have some antique napkins that I don't mind getting messed up..they give a meal a whole different feel.
Paper most of the time. Thanks for the chance to win. I like the cloth napkins. Thanks for the link
I use both paper and cloth depending on the occasion - if we are barbecuing outside, it is definitely paper - if it is a formal sit down meal, then cloth is the way to go. Thanks for sharing.
Paper napkins for day to day - Cloth when I take out the "good" dishes! Thanks for the chance!
Pinwheel Picnic is gorgeous! Looks like a wonderful book! I used paper tonight but cloth last night...I am always so indecisive! Thanks for the chance!
Definitely cloth napkins! We use them everyday. Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful book!
When I had my seventh child, it became paper plates and napkins all the way just to survive. Now that they are grown, I want a quilting life with all the fun and creativity.
Thanks for a chance to win Sherri's great book! We use paper at our house, out of habit.
Paper - almost always. Cloth is just too much work in spite of looking lovely.
I use both, but prefer cloth.
I use paper.
I use paper napkins!
Thanks for the recipe!
Mmmmm, that recipe sounds delecious, will have to give it a try!i must confess that I use both cloth & paper napkins, but I should really make more cloth napkins, love the tutorial, soooo IF I WIN, will have to make anew table topper with matching napkin's..
I use paper but really like cloth. The quilt at your LQS is very cute in that fabric.
We use paper - my husband is addicted to paper towels! But you've inspired me to work to convert him. I love the polka dot cloth napkins! Thank you for the giveaway!
I hate to admit it but paper is for me. bandmstewart@yahoo.com
Paper...
Love the book...
We use paper. I have enough to wash without adding anything extra. LOL Thanks for the giveaway. I would love to win Sherri's book.
always paper, because I can't seem to conquer stains in table linens.
:(
I use paper most of the time, but on the holidays out come the cloth napkins. I may have to start using cloth napkins more often after seeing how cute your napkins look. Thanks for the chance to win a copy of the book.
I use paper most of the time, and it's hard enough to get anyone to use them! I personally prefer a nice plate and setting with cloth. It makes me feel special for everything to be pretty.
Paper for everyday, cloth for special. Maybe I should make some cloth napkins to go wirh the everyday dishes. Hmmmm.
I use paper but I love cloth!
Paper, always.
I use cloth. Always have and always will. I watch for wash and wear remnants and then hem the size I want on the serger. Everyone enjoys using them and like to receive a giveaway from me.
Paper or cloth? What about sleeve? Just kidding! How about paper towels? Not kidding there.
Oh man, paper towels. VIVA to be exact! With 6 kiddos, I need something that will work and work fast! Thanks for being a part of this great giveaway!!
By all means, paper!
Great recipe! For many years cloth napkins were the only acceptable thing in our home. But when they became difficult to find, and I got tired of ironing them (I know, just couldn't let it go . . .), we changed to paper, and I'm never satisfied with them. Now, however, with the tutorial you shared, perhaps the pendulum will swing back the other way!! Thanks for the chance to win. And thanks, too, for your monthly Schnibbles inspiration.
I use paper right now, but I just made a bunch of cloth napkins for my daughter and son in law. They really love them.
Wow, the book looks great and I love your attitude about napkins. Now I am on the hunt for handkercheif pattern
Your quilt is adorable! I love this fabric line and have some of it in red. The quiche looks yummy! We mostly use paper napkins, but you've inspired me to make some cloth ones! Thanks for the giveaway!
We use paper generally but with three little kids washcloths get used the most! Thank you for the chance to win. Cant wait to get a copy of her Sherri's book.
We use cloth napkins. They were given to us years ago and each is a different color. It makes for a bright table! It may be time for me to make some new ones! I have a favorite quiche recipe that I make around Christmas time.Yum. Thanks for the chance to win.
I use clothe napkins. But I use white washclothes. My mother did this for years before I started doing it. And surprisingly they get very clean no matter what we are eating...pizza, spaghetti, all that tomato stuff.
We use paper at home but I pack cloth ones for the kids lunches...they love the personalized ones I make!
Thanks for the chance to win!
Patti
We use paper, except on very special occasions. I love the vintage cloth napkins!
Paper for everyday and I bring out the cloth for special people-wink-wink!
Thanks for the recipe. I'm afraid I'm a paper napkin kind of gal. Thanks for the giveaway!
If it is a normal day it's paper but special times deserves cloth. For wedding presents I make a set of 12x4 placemats and matching napkins. I need to make myself a set.
Thanks for sharing your quiche recipe. Love that stuff. We use paper, but cloth would be much softer!!!! I like that quilt done in glamping. I think I saw it when I went to the quilt show and then over to the shop. Very cute in person.

Thanks for the recipe! I usually use cloth napkins, but if I'm eating something greasy like pizza I like to use paper. Thanks for the giveaway :)
I love that quilt!! And I use paper. I'd rather throw them out than wash them! :-)
We alwasy use paper...
The recipe sounds lovely!
The quiche recipe sounds so yummy, I will definitely try it out. We use paper napkins for breakfasts and snack lunches, but pretty cloth ones always for supper/dinner and when we have visitors. There are so many lovely fabrics to make into napkins - always a terrific gift too. This book look so much fun so I am hoping to be one of the lucky winners!
I use cloth napkins almost all the time. Only exception is if I have a large crowd. But I feel so wasteful using paper napkins on a daily basis. I've never made any napkins so thank you for the tutorial!
Paper, but making cloth napkins would be a great project to go with some placemats!
Diana
dpackech@yahoo.com
I hate to admit it but we use paper napkins but on christmas & easter we use cloth
A tasty sounding recipe. What a lovely idea some bright napkins to go with a picnic blanket. Off to look through my stash.
Great quilt pick! I'm hoping to win Sherri's book. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
I use paper, but after seeing your cute cloth napkins, I think I need to make some. :)
Sinta, this quiche sounds wonderful...just one question, do you cook the bacon first and crumble or just cut up and add to filling??? Thanks for this recipe and can't wait to try. Love your cloth napkins and I also prefer cloth too!

Paper!!
my kids have cloth napkins in their lunches and we use cloth here at home as well but I never seem to have enough of them!
I use paper but only because I don't own any cloth napkins. maybe I should make some!
I need to make some cloth napkins for sure. I would liek this wonderful book to kickstart my "funk" I am in and while I am redoing my sewing area. thanks for the chance
aka kingcooper0001@aol.com
I have two teens and several of their friends in the house at any given time, so I definitely use paper. I am a cloth girl at heart, and insist on using handmade placemats though.
That is a great picnic quilt! I use paper napkins. I never though about cloth not blowing away on a picnic...I might have to get working on some! Thanks for the chance to win.
I love cloth napkins, but usually just use paper. Thanks for the chance to win.
Cloth definitely, but I usually just serge around the sides. Try to make some for a friend to have for every occasion and have some for me too. Usually make smaller "cocktail" size ones to match.
Cloth! I whipped up a few simple ones....cut out and serge the edges lol. I will have to make some time to make those pretty bordered ones. Thank you for the pattern idea and the chance to win!
Cloth napkins! Those are so cute! I'm going to make some mini ones for my little girls play kitchen! She'll love them!
I use both! usually paper for every day and cloth for entertaining,
Satterfieldfamily at sbcglobal dot net
I too use both. But one year I made Christmas napkins and let the grandkids take one home with them to use throughout the season.
thank you for the quiche recipe, it sounds so good -- i love artichokes! i'm really lovin' the cloth napkins, alas, i'm always afraid to get them dirty so we use a lot of paper ones. have you seen the sweet napkin rings lori holt makes for her family, very vintage! thank you for this chance to win.
Thanks for sharing your quiche recipe. Sounds scrumptious. I do like cloth napkins, unfortunately we usually use paper
Paper all the time.
I use paper. I keep saying I'm going to start using cloth, and make them myself, but then I get busy sewing on something else! Thank you for hosting this giveaway.
Cloth...so much nicer to use, cheaper too and so much better for the environment. Thanks for the tute..i am on my way to check it out.
Your recipe sounds absolutely delicious! For napkins, we typically use paper, although I would love to learn how to make cloth - yours are cute! :o)
I use paper. If I don't have wash and press cloth napkins, I have more time to quilt!
I've always liked cloth better than paper, but I confess to only having paper ones at home....and only use them for birthday parties when a gang's over!!
I love your comment about cloth napkins! Ditto!
Almost 30 years ago - ack! - I read a list in the newspaper about little things you could do to help the environment. It was Earth Day and the list included small changes you could make in your life that would help in some way. One of those things was switching from paper napkins to cloth napkins. I went through all the linen drawers and collected all the cloth napkins from placemat sets that weren't being used and put them in a big basket. I put another bin in the washroom for napkins. We haven't used paper napkins since. I'm even good about asking that they not be included with take-out.
And yes, I have made them too. :)
Great post!
I've been using cloth napkins for many years and now enjoy making holiday themed napkins now that there are grandchildren at the table. It's so easy to perk up the table with colorful napkins! Thank you for the recipe!
Thank you for your quiche recipe, I will have to try it and compare it to mine LOL. Also, I was wanting to make some placemats and napkins for a cousins wedding present - so perfect timing on that tutorial!

I love cloth napkins, but in the last couple of years I have switched to paper napkins; I always use the lovely, embossed, thick paper napkins and just hate the cheapy ones that are thin.
Thanks for the recipe. It sounds delicious.
That Glamping fabric is so cute! I have to get some before it is gone!!!
We are paper here. Not formal at all. In fact, I buy the Viva paper towels that you can tear off half of a regular size paper towel. That is what we use for napkins! HaHa.

I have nevver had quiche before. I am a small town rural southern girl. Now as far as napkins go I kinda do both the children allways use paper napkins. The husband must grab a paper towel. I always grab a dish cloh and dampen it to use. I don't know why but I prefer to use that. I thaink I am gonna head over to check out that paper napkin tutorial. I would love to mak eme some pretty napkins to use . Then maybe the kids would want to use them too. Thank you fro the chance to win the book. It looks fabulous.
I love cloth napkins. I buy them after the season when they are on sale. My 96 year old mother has asked me to make her a quiche. Your recipe came just at the right moment. she likes spinach so I'll substitute it with the artichoke. The books looks great. I hope I win it.

I love quiche. Such a fun dish to serve when my girlfriends come over for craft-brunch.... and gasp.... did you say Fabric Napkins...haha too much work in my house Paper all the way. giggle
I use paper napkins sorry! Love the blog hop, thanks for the chance to win! awolk at rogers dot com
I love that quilt! I think I've found my next project...
Anyway... we currently use paper though I have fabric set aside to make cloth ones, I just need to find a trim that coordinates with my dishes.
Welllll I have to admit that I use BOTH :) BUT>>>I use cloth often. I love the "specialness" they add to the meal, fun colors, designs and often theme related which is so fun. I think it teaches the kids to make meal times more special and enjoyable and not just to eat and run. Great for teaching "resturant" manners too. :) The quich sounds YUMMY! Thanks for the give away. :)
Yummy recipe, thanks for sharing. I usually use paper napkins, but I have made cloth. I am going to check out the link you posted for cloth. Thanks for the chance to win Sherri's book.
Hi Sinta! I use paper napkins but my husband usually uses a paper towel - no idea why he prefers the paper towel to the paper napkin :-)
We use cloth. With two littles, cloth is just nicer for helping establish good habits. And heck, clean up isn't any more difficult... They just go in the wash instead of the trash!
We have paper, since I haven't made any cloth!!
